BMW X7 Price: Prices for the X7 range from Rs 1.30 crore to Rs 1.34 crore (ex-showroom).

Variants:  BMW X7 comes in 3 variants: xDrive40d DPE, xDrive40i  M Sport, Signature Edition, and xDrive40d M Sport. 

Key Features of BMW X7: - For creature comforts, the BMW X7 gets a connected screen setup operating on BMW’s i-Drive 8 software, connected car tech, a five-zone climate control system, a heads-up display (HUD), a digital key, panoramic 3-part glass roof, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon surround sound system, multi-colour ambient lighting, powered front seats with memory, heating & massage functions, active seat ventilation, a powered tailgate and multiple driving modes (Comfort, Efficient, Sport and Adaptive).  Also part of the kit is the Adaptive 2-axle air suspension system which guarantees the utmost comfort level.

Safety Features: The SUV’s advanced driver-assistance package protects passengers and other road users, which comprises tons of active safety features like lane change warning with active steering intervention, lane departure warning, front collision warning with brake intervention, rear collision prevention with exit warning, rear crossing traffic alert, speed limit information, driver drowsiness detection, etc. The other notable safety features include multiple airbags, ABS, cornering brake control, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), a 360-degree surround view system and more.

Colours: BMW offers the new X7 in four Metallic body shades: Carbon Black, Mineral White, Dravit Grey, and BMW Individual Tanzanite Blue. 

Engine and Automatic: The xDrive40i M Sport petrol variant gets a 3.0-litre inline-six turbo engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system, providing a combined output of 381PS and 520Nm. On the other hand, the xDrive40d M Sport diesel trim is fueled by a straight-six motor, rated at 340PS and 700Nm. Both engines come with an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission and BMW’s intelligent xDrive all-wheel drive system (AWD). The SUV claims nought to 100kmph in just 5.8 seconds before attaining a top speed of 250kmph.

Mileage: The BMW X7 xDrive40d M Sport diesel trim is claimed to return a fuel efficiency of 14.31km/l, whereas the xDrive40i M Sport petrol trim offers 11.29km/l. 

Dimensions and Boot: The X7 measures 5181mm in length, 2218mm in width, and 1835mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 3105mm. The luggage space is 300 litres with all three rows up.

Competition Check: The X7 competes with the Mercedes-Benz GLS, Volvo XC90 and Audi Q7.
