Latest Updates: In July 2024, BMW launched the 5 Series LWB in India. The 5-Seater LWB is one of the longest cars in its league, measuring over 5.1 meters in length and has a segment-longest wheelbase of 3,105mm. It is powered by a 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine with a 48V mild hybrid setup, and is paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

The 5 Series is equipped with the brand’s curved display setup comprising a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display and a 14.9-inch infotainment system, an 18-speaker Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound system. Other features include panoramic glass, 4-zone climate control, ambient lighting, powered front seats with ventilation and memory functions, a heads-up display, BMW Digital Key, and much more.

Engine and Transmission

Powering the 5 Series LWB version is a 2-litre turbocharged petrol engine (258PS/400Nm) mated to a 48V mild-hybrid system, which drives the rear wheels of the sedan via an 8-speed automatic transmission. It has a top speed of 250 kmph, while the 0-100 kmph sprint time is just 6.5 seconds.
