2024 Porsche Panamera Interior Revealed

2024 Porsche Panamera Interior Revealed

Porsche cars has just revealed the first official images of the 2024 Panamera’s interior. Similar to the Taycan and the recently unveiled new Cayenne, the new Porsche Panamera gets an interior that is dominated by large screens and minimal physical buttons. It also borrows a few features from the new SUV. 2024 Porsche Panamera Interior: What Does It Look Like? While the new Panamera retains its slab-sided dashboard with a flowing centre console design, it has been thoroughly modernised with screens replacing most of the physical controls. The next-gen model features a 12.3-inch infotainment system, a 12.6-inch digital instrument cluster, and an optional 10.9-inch passenger-side display. The latter can operate the GPS or stopwatch, control media functions, and apps like YouTube. All this while, the screen remains opaque to the driver to reduce distractions. Meanwhile, the rear passengers get a centrally-placed touchscreen that can control media, ambient lighting, and the GPS. The current-gen Panamera is among the last Porsches to get an analogue tachometer. Sadly, it has now been replaced with the new digital driver’s display which allows for up to seven different views, including the classic five-dial layout. The new Panamera also gets the “Driver Experience” control concept first seen on the Taycan which groups all driver controls together instead of being behind multiple different menus. Porsche has increased stowage space on the centre console by replacing the gear selector to a toggle switch and positioning it between the infotainment display and dashboard. The brand has also changed the faux turn-key starter to a start/stop button. The new Panamera’s electrically operated central AC vent and haptic touch with toggle switches for climate control also help in decluttering the interior. Another big change to the 2024 Panamera is the all-new steering wheel with access to most driver functions like the drive mode selector, toggle switches to access different menus on the instrument cluster, and optional HUD. 2024 Porsche Panamera: Powertrain Options While the new Panamera will retain most of the powertrain options of the current model, it will be heavily updated with new software and revised exhaust systems to meet the Euro 7 emissions. Options will include a twin-turbo 2.9-litre V6 and a 4.0-litre V8, both with mild-hybrid assistance. The 2024 Panamera will also get a reworked strong-hybrid powertrain which will be shared with the all-new Cayenne SUV. 2024 Porsche Panamera: Launch Details Porsche is slated to fully unveil the new Panamera on November 24, with a global launch slated for the first quarter of 2024. Expect the new model to reach Indian shores by the end of 2024 or early-2025. Read Also: Honda Cars Discount Offers November 2023
