Maruti Suzuki has been making waves with its latest mid-size SUV, the Maruti Suzuki Victoris, which is expected to be a game-changer in its segment. The company has equipped the SUV with several high-tech features and innovations, some of which are being introduced for the first time in a Maruti vehicle. However, what’s really drawing attention is the Maruti Suzuki Victoris price reveal, especially as the government’s recent GST reforms could make the SUV more affordable than ever before.
One of the most exciting developments surrounding the Maruti Suzuki Victoris 2025 is the expected price drop due to a significant reduction in the Goods and Services Tax (GST) rates on passenger vehicles. As of September 22, 2025, the GST on passenger vehicles was reduced from 28% to 18%. This decrease is set to impact all models, including the Maruti Victoris, making it more affordable for customers.
Thanks to the GST reform, the tax burden on SUVs will decrease, meaning the Victoris could see a price cut from earlier estimates. The reduction in GST rates is expected to have a positive impact on the Maruti Victoris SUV price, which will be more competitive in the market.
While the Maruti Suzuki Victoris launch price has not yet been announced, the company has been waiting for the final clarification on the GST reforms before committing to the pricing. Now that the GST rates are finalized, we can expect Maruti Suzuki Victoris price to be revealed sometime in the last week of September 2025, possibly coinciding with the Navratri festival.
The Maruti Victoris is expected to fall under the 40% GST slab, which applies to mid-size SUVs. Prior to the GST cuts, vehicles like the Victoris were taxed at 28% GST plus cess, pushing the price higher. With the new GST regime, all cars above 4 meters will be taxed at a uniform 40%, benefiting vehicles like the Maruti Victoris.
As we await the official Maruti Suzuki Victoris price reveal, here’s what we can expect in terms of pricing:
Base Model: Rs 10.5 lakh (ex-showroom)
Top Model: Rs 18.5 lakh (ex-showroom)
The Maruti Suzuki Victoris is expected to be positioned as the flagship SUV under the Maruti Suzuki ARENA network, though it may later be offered as a premium offering through NEXA dealerships. With this price range, it will directly compete with popular SUVs in the segment, including the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and others.
Maruti Victoris 2025 is packed with features that are sure to attract buyers. Some of the standout features include:
- LEVEL-2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System)
- 8-speaker Infinity sound system with Dolby Atmos
- Ventilated front seats for added comfort
