Fronx facelift could bring updated styling and new features. YMC electric MPV is expected to launch in 2027. A smaller EV and Invicto update are also possible.
Maruti Suzuki is preparing to expand its lineup with new models and updates across different segments. The upcoming plans could include a refreshed Fronx, a three-row electric MPV and a possible smaller electric car.
The company is also testing a camouflaged Victoris, although its purpose is not yet clear. Meanwhile, reports suggest that the premium Invicto MPV could receive an update.
While some of these developments have been spotted on Indian roads, others remain unconfirmed. Here is a look at five upcoming Maruti Suzuki cars and what we know about them so far.
The Maruti Suzuki Fronx is expected to receive a facelift with changes to its exterior design and feature list. The updated model could get a redesigned grille, revised bumpers and changes to the front and rear lighting.
The facelift may also bring additional safety and convenience features. A radar sensor spotted on a test vehicle has raised expectations of ADAS features, such as adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking. However, Maruti Suzuki has not confirmed these features for the production model.
The existing 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engines could continue. The company is also working on a more affordable hybrid system for smaller cars, and the Fronx could be considered for this technology in the future.
The exact engine options and launch date of the updated Fronx are yet to be confirmed.

The YMC electric MPV is expected to be one of Maruti Suzuki's key upcoming models. It is likely to become the company's first all-electric MPV, with a three-row layout designed to offer more space for passengers.
Spy shots suggest that the YMC will have an upright body, a long roofline and SUV-inspired styling. These design elements could help create a spacious cabin for families.
The electric MPV is expected to share its platform and powertrain technology with the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara. Reports suggest that it could get 49kWh and 61kWh battery packs, but the company has not confirmed these specifications.
Its driving range could also differ from the e Vitara because of its larger body and additional seating.
The YMC is expected to launch in 2027. A Toyota-badged version is also reportedly in development, although further details are not available yet.
A heavily camouflaged Maruti Suzuki Victoris has been spotted testing, raising questions about what the company is developing.
The test vehicle could be linked to a new powertrain, an alternative-fuel setup or another development project. However, the available spy images do not confirm its purpose.
A facelift also appears too early to predict, as the Victoris was launched in 2025. There are no confirmed details about changes to its design, features or engine options.
For now, the test sighting is worth watching, but it would be too early to call it a new Victoris variant or a confirmed 2027 launch.
Maruti Suzuki is expected to expand its electric vehicle lineup beyond the e Vitara. A smaller electric car could help the company reach customers looking for a more affordable EV for daily city use.
Depending on its size and price, the upcoming model could compete with compact electric vehicles such as the Tata Punch EV.
The identity of this future EV has not been confirmed. A Fronx-based electric SUV and an electric version of the Brezza have both been discussed as possibilities, but neither has been confirmed as a production model.
Reports suggest that Maruti Suzuki could reveal another electric vehicle in 2027. However, it remains unclear whether this will be a smaller EV or the YMC electric MPV.
More details about the model, battery options, driving range and launch timeline are expected once the company shares its plans.
The Maruti Suzuki Invicto could also receive an update, according to reports. The premium MPV may get revised exterior details and additional features.
The changes could help keep the Invicto fresh in the premium MPV segment. There is also speculation that Maruti Suzuki could expand its equipment list, although the exact updates are not known.
The current Invicto uses a 2.0-litre strong-hybrid petrol engine paired with an e-CVT automatic transmission. There is no confirmed information about changes to the engine, variant lineup or transmission.
Maruti Suzuki has not announced a launch date or shared specifications for the possible facelift. Its arrival in 2027 should therefore be treated as a possibility rather than a confirmed plan.
