Suzuki XL7 previews the upcoming Maruti XL6 facelift. The MPV gets fresh styling and a few cabin updates. India launch is expected before the end of this year.
Maruti Suzuki is expected to launch the updated XL6 in India later this year, and the recently unveiled Suzuki XL7 in Indonesia has given us a clear idea of what to expect. Since both models are closely related, the design and feature updates seen on the XL7 are likely to be carried over to the India-spec XL6. While the facelift brings a fresher look, the mechanical package is expected to remain unchanged.

The biggest changes are on the outside. The updated model gets a redesigned front bumper, a wider gloss black grille and new fog lamp housings. A slimmer silver skid plate has also been added to give the front a more rugged look. Suzuki has also introduced new gloss black alloy wheels along with black-finished ORVMs, door handles, roof and A-pillars. At the rear, the only major update is a new roof spoiler, while the LED tail-lamps and bumper design remain largely the same. These styling changes are expected to be seen on the India-spec Maruti XL6 as well.

Inside, the layout remains familiar. The biggest change is a new glossy finish on the dashboard, while the overall cabin design has been carried over. The feature list is expected to remain largely unchanged. It includes a large touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a multifunction steering wheel, roof-mounted AC vents for the second row, cruise control and a 360-degree camera. The all-black cabin theme is also expected to continue.
Maruti Suzuki is not expected to make any changes under the bonnet. The updated XL6 will likely continue with the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, producing 102 bhp and 137 Nm of torque. Transmission options are expected to include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic. A factory-fitted CNG version is also expected to remain part of the lineup, with a claimed fuel efficiency of 26.23 km/kg.
Maruti Suzuki has not officially confirmed the launch timeline, but the refreshed XL6 is expected to arrive in Indian showrooms before the end of 2026.
