Get ready to spot new car launches and bring your dream car home this festive season. Here is the list of upcoming car launches. Mercedes AMG C43 The performance-oriented version of the Mercedes C-Class, the new Mercedes Benz C43 AMG is soon to be launched on November 2. The car will feature the Panamericana front grille, adaptive LED headlights with unique LED DRLs, black ORVMs, enlarged air intakes, faux quad exhausts, and 18-inch alloy wheels. Mechanically, it will come equipped with a 2.0-litre turbo petrol unit mated with a 48V mild-hybrid system. It will provide the combined power of 402 bhp (415 bhp with boost function) and 500 Nm of peak torque. For the transmission options, it will offer a 9-speed torque converter automatic system. As far as the prices are concerned, the previous-gen C43 was on sale at Rs 82.47 lakh (ex-showroom). For the new-gen model, expect to receive a price hike. Mercedes GLE Facelift Apart from the C43 AMG, Mercedes cars is likely to announce the launch of the facelifted version of the GLE model. The refreshed models will get new LED headlights, all-new alloy wheels, tweaked bumpers, and updated LED tail lights. It will be offered in three variants, 300d, 450, and new 450 d. While the 300d's turbo diesel can produce 269 bhp with 500 Nm, the 450's six-cylinder petrol unit can deliver 381 bhp with 500 Nm of torque. The all-new 450d with six-cylinder turbo diesel option can generate 367 bhp with 750 Nm of torque. These three powertrain options are mated with a 48V mild-hybrid system that can offer an additional 20 bhp and 200 Nm of peak torque. The transmission option will include the 9-speed automatic gearbox. Prices for the 2023 Mercedes Benz GLE facelift is set to be unveiled on 2 November 2023. The Chinese automaker confirmed to launch the EV towards the end of this year. Once launched it will be called the new flagship product from BYD in India. The design of the upcoming Seal EV is inspired by the Ocean X concept car. It is likely to get an all-glass roof, a split headlamp design, a full-width LED light bar at the rear, flush-fitting door handles, and four boomerang-shaped LED DRLs. Prices for the EV are expected to hover between Rs 55 lakh to Rs 60 lakh (ex-showroom). Nissan X-trail The Japanese automaker, Nissan cars also has a plan to launch its flagship SUV, the X-Trail in India by the year-end. The car will be offered in both 5-seat and 7-seat configurations. As for the powertrain, the new model will come powered by two engine options; a 1.5-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol with the brand's e-Power hybrid tech. The hybrid option gets the all-wheel-drive system whereas the standard petrol version comes with only FWD. The hybrid system features a 150 kW electric motor which can generate a combined output of 198 bhp while the e-Power dual motor system can deliver 206 bhp. The expected price for the X-Trail is Rs 40 lakh to Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom). Tata Punch EV Tata Motors has already brought new electric versions of Tiago, Nexon, and Tigor. This festive season, the automaker is expected to bring another electric model to the market. The new Tata Punch.ev will go on sale before the end of the year and will become the most affordable electric SUV in the country. The new Tata Punch.ev will be powered by the brand's Ziptron powertrain. It will get a liquid-cooled battery that will send power to the front-axle-mounted electric motor. Additionally, the EV will get two battery pack sizes and charging options. Interestingly, this will be the first Tata EV to receive a front bumper-mounted charging socket. As far as the price is concerned, it will fall in the range of Rs 9.50 lakh to Rs 12.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Audi Q8 Facelift Audi cars had globally introduced the facelifted version of the Q8 SUV with some cosmetic updates and new features. The automaker is likely to launch the India-spec model very soon. It will feature a trapezoidal front grille, HD Matrix LED units with laser, larger air damps, a 2D Audi logo, a new alloy wheel design, and a reworked rear bumper. Additionally, the SUV will continue to come powered by the familiar 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine in the country producing 335 bhp and mated to an 8-speed DSG gearbox. After the successful launch of a new EQA and EQB facelift, Mercedes-Benz India is gearing up to launch an all-electric G-Wagon. Ahead of the launch in 2025, the brand has started accepting pre-bookings for the all-electric G-Class, also known as the G 580 EQ Technology. Mercedes-Benz G Wagon EV: What to Expect? Visually, the G 580 EV will resemble its combustion counterpart. However, its closed-off front panel and the optional EQ-style grille with illuminated accents will make it look different from the ICE model. It will also get a new design for the alloy wheel. Inside the G 580, we will get to see dual 12.3-inch screens and the advanced voice assistant system. Some of the optional features will include a premium Burmester 3D sound system and rear-seat entertainment package with twin 11.6-inch touchscreens. Specifications Beneath the hood, the electric G Wagon will be offered with a 116 kWh battery pack, offering the WLTP-claimed range of over 473 km. Mercedes-Benz launched the EQA 250+ introductorily priced at Rs. 66 lakh ex-showroom on Monday, making it its most affordable e-SUV offering in India. The facelifted EQB SUV also went on sale besides the former, starting at Rs. 70.09 lakh. Notably, Mercedes also sells the EQE SUV and EQS sedan here. Bookings are open with deliveries starting January next year. Signature Mercedes bits like the three-pointed star look familiar and its nose is accentuated with an LED bridge connecting the headlamps. Nineteen-inch alloy wheels on this one are new. The cabin equipment list runs long ranging from a steering wheel with touch controls, head-up display, 10.25-inch touchscreen with MBUX connectivity and gesture control, 12-speaker Burmester setup and 360-degree camera to Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).   Mercedes-Benz EQA 250+ SUV: Battery Specs For India, Mercedes has equipped the EQA 250+ with a 70.5 kWh battery pack married to a front-wheel drive motor producing 190 horsepower and 385 Nm of pull force. While we are yet to test it out on our roads, its WLTP range happens to be 560 kilometres. The NMC unit is fast-charging compatible and takes 35 minutes to charge from 10 to 80 per cent.
