2024 Isuzu MU-X Facelift Revealed - Top Changes

Japanese automaker Isuzu has introduced the facelifted MU-X SUV in Thailand. The company has confirmed that the updated model will also go on sale in other markets where it is on sale. The 2024 Isuzu MU-X comes with cosmetic design changes and an upgraded interior; however, the ladder-frame chassis and powertrain options remain the same.  Top Changes The 2024 Isuzu MU-X comes with a redesigned front fascia, featuring restyled headlamp setup and a new air curtain into the front bumper. The SUV also gets redesigned aluminium wheels. Similar to the exterior, the cabin styling has been revamped to offer a premium feel. The instrument panel, seats and door trim have been redesigned to offer a premium feel.  The company has also introduced the RS version of the SUV, which comes with black elements across its exterior design. There is an exclusive RS emblem on the front grille, offering a sportier and sleeker profile. The cabin of the new Isuzu MU-X gets ambient lighting and foot lamps. The SUV also gets a Surround view monitor system and a 7-inch TFT LCD display to the instrument panel.  The 2024 Isuzu MU-X facelift also comes with advanced driver assistance system (ADAS). It has a camera-based ADAS tech with features collision avoidance system, autonomous emergency braking, rear collision avoidance system and others. In cold weather, the system automatically warms the windshield around the camera lens to prevent fogging and this avoids the risk of safety features malfunctioning.  2024 Isuzu MU-X Specs In terms of proportions, the new Isuzu MU-X is 4,860mm long, 1,885mm wide and 1,875mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2,855mm. The SUV rides on 20-inch wheels wrapped with 265/50R20 section tyres. Powering the SUV is a 3.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine that produces 188bhp at 3,600rpm and 450Nm at 1,600-2,600rpm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox.

Isuzu Launches D-Max V-Cross Z Prestige at Rs 26.91 Lakh

Isuzu India has launched two new trims of its D-Max V-Cross ‘Prestige’ line today. With the V-Cross, the Japanese carmaker aims to address the increasing demand for lifestyle pickup trucks. There’s also a new Hi-lander version up for grabs. Besides cosmetic upgrades, read along for technical advancements and upgrades. Upgrades On the V-Cross’ outside, a dual-tone bumper guard, matt black alloy wheels, roof rails and rear bumper finished in dark grey are new. Even the fog lamp and engine hood garnishes have been greyed out. Further, there’s a passive entry and start system (PESS) and a parking sensor and camera at the back. Driving takes the front seat with features like a shift-on-the-fly 4WD system, hill descent control, electronic stability control (ESC) and traction control system (TCS) as standard across models. Infotainment is taken care of by a 9-inch touchscreen unit that comes with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Seats at the back have been redesigned for a comfortable seating posture, Isuzu said. Engine Specs The trucks remain mechanically unchanged with the same 1.9-litre common rail diesel mill producing 163 horsepower and 360 newton metres mated to either a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. Prestige line is also equipped with a four-wheel drive-type system. Prices Bookings are open with prices for the pickup truck being Rs 25.71 lakh (V-Cross Z) and Rs 26.91 lakh (V-Cross Z Prestige), respectively, while the Hi-lander costs Rs 21.19 lakh ex-showroom Chennai. ISUZU New-Generation mu-X FAQ

The price of the upcoming ISUZU mu-X is expected to be in the range of Rs 30 to Rs 35 lakh (ex-showroom).

The estimated launch date of the upcoming ISUZU mu-X is set around March 2023.

The ISUZU mu-X SUV is expected to be offered with a 2.0-litre diesel engine producing a maximum power output of 163 bhp with 360 Nm of peak torque. The four-wheeler will also receive a shift-on-fly 4WD system.
