Jeep Grand Cherokee is a luxury off-road capable SUV that is made in India. Built on a unibody construction, the SUV has been in the international market since 1983. Currently in its 5th generation, the new model is offered as a Made-in-India product. 

The latest update has introduced a plusher interior along with a more efficient powertrain option on the four-wheeler. 

Jeep Grand Cherokee: Exterior

The Jeep Grand Cherokee’s exterior design is bold yet iconic. An evolution of the design over 30 years, the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee features a new front facia. It offers a new grille design and badging. The iconic 7-slat grille sits proudly alongside a flatter and more muscular bonnet. 

On the sides, we get to see more character lines along with black body cladding and squared off wheel arches that house 20-inch alloy wheels. Towards the rear, it provides a compact tailgate with lots of curves and cuts. The presence of LED tail lights, a chrome strip and reflector inserts on either side complete the strong looks of the SUV.

Interior: The interior of the New Grand Cherokee SUV offers a premium cabin finished in an all-black theme, accented with teak and satin chrome panels. The overall interior design is functional and luxurious with large glass panels and comfortable seats.

Safety: In terms of safety, Grand Cherokee gets 8-airbags, ABS with EBD, hill-start assist, TPMS, seat belt pre-tensioner and more basic equipment as standard. 

Plus the vehicle is equipped with ADAS Tech for the first time that includes functionalities like adaptive cruise control with stop and go, collision avoidance assist, blind spot monitoring and drowsy driver detection among others.

Jeep Grand Cherokee is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 268 bhp and 400 Nm of peak torque. The new powertrain comes equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission option with the Quadra-Trac 4X4 system that features multiple traction models.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee measures 4,914 mm in length, 1,979 mm in width and 1,792 mm in height having a wheelbase of 2,964 mm. The car gets an 87-litre fuel tank and 20-inch alloy wheels.
