Tata Motors has released multiple teasers of the upcoming 2025 Tata Altroz facelift, which shows its design and interior. Scheduled to be launched on 22nd May, 2025, the hatch will make public debut on May 9. The latest teasers reveals key features addition and top design and interior changes.
The latest teaser confirms that the new Altroz shares most of its features with the new Tata Nexon SUV. It comes with subtle interior upgrades including a bigger touchscreen infotainment unit, a new instrument console and an electric sunroof. The dashboard layout appears identical to the existing model; however, Tata Motors has added new upholstery and trims for dashboard and seats. It comes with new two-spoke steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo, and instrument console that displays Google Maps navigation.

The teaser reveals that the Altroz facelift will come with a heavily updated front fascia, which comes with a newly-designed front grille. The premium hatch gets revised LED headlamp setup in a split pattern and new eye-brow-like LED daytime running lamps, new bumper that has new vertical creases and new fog lamp housing.
The side profile of the hatchback looks largely identical to the outgoing model, except for few changes. It comes with a newly designed alloy wheels and new flush-type door handles with illumination. The rear passenger door handles continue to be placed on C-pillar. At the back, the Altroz facelift gets newly designed sportier dual-tone bumper and new LED tail-lights with a T-motif connected via an LED light bar.
The Altroz facelift is likely to retain the existing engine options including a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol and a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbo diesel. The NA petrol engine is capable of producing 87bhp and 115Nm of torque, while the turbo diesel unit is good for 90bhp and 200Nm of torque. Transmission choices likely to include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic.
It will also come with a CNG version, which feature a 1.2L petrol engine with a factory-fitted CNG kit. The powertrain produces 73bhp and 103Nm of torque. It will continue to be offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Altroz Racer will continue to be offered with the 118bhp and 170Nm of torque, and is paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The hatchback will have a more features compared to the outgoing model; however, Tata will aim to price the new Altroz aggressively in the market. The new model is estimated to be priced between Rs 6.70 lakh and Rs 11.50 lakh.
