The 2026 Kia Seltos will launch in January with a new design and advanced features. Pricing is expected between Rs 10.99 lakh and Rs 21 lakh (ex-showroom). Key rivals include Hyundai Creta, Tata Sierra, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
The new-gen Kia Seltos is set to make its official debut in India on January 2, 2026, and discussions around its pricing are already gaining attention. While Kia has yet to announce the official price, it is expected that the 2026 Seltos will start around Rs 10.99 lakh, with the top variants reaching up to Rs 21 lakh (ex-showroom). This new version of the Seltos will be available in several trims, packed with updated features, an overhauled design, and advanced tech, including Level 2 ADAS.

Given the significant updates and premium features, the new-gen Kia Seltos is expected to see a slight price increase over the outgoing model. The outgoing model was priced from Rs 10.79 lakh to Rs 19.81 lakh (ex-showroom), and the 2026 Kia Seltos will likely start at around Rs 10.99 lakh, with higher variants reaching up to Rs 21 lakh. This price hike reflects the new features like Level 2 ADAS, a modern design, and an upgraded interior.
The 2026 Kia Seltos will face stiff competition in the highly popular mid-size SUV segment. Key rivals fall within a similar price range and offer a mix of powerful features, performance, and design. For instance, the Hyundai Creta, which shares many market specifications with the Seltos, is priced between Rs 10.73 lakh and Rs 20.20 lakh. Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, which is priced from Rs 10.77 lakh to Rs 19.72 lakh, offers strong hybrid engine options and All-Wheel Drive (AWD) capabilities.
Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder is also a close competitor, priced from Rs 10.95 lakh to Rs 19.76 lakh, and shares similar powertrain options with the Grand Vitara. Tata Sierra, with a price range from Rs 11.49 lakh to Rs 20.49 lakh, is known for its spaciousness and comfort. Volkswagen Taigun, priced between Rs 11.39 lakh and Rs 19.4 lakh, focuses on strong driving dynamics and safety, boasting a 5-star Global NCAP rating. Skoda Kushaq, priced from Rs 10.61 lakh to Rs 18.79 lakh, is a mechanical twin to the Taigun, with a similar emphasis on safety and performance.
Other competitors in the segment include the Honda Elevate, which is praised for practicality and ride comfort, and the MG Astor, known for its connected car technology and premium interior feel. Another competitor is the Maruti Suzuki Victoris, priced from Rs 10.50 lakh to Rs 19.99 lakh, which has also entered the market recently.
The new-gen Kia Seltos was unveiled on December 10, 2025. Following this, bookings for the new model officially opened on December 11, 2025, with a token amount of Rs 25,000. The complete pricing for the 2026 Kia Seltos will be revealed on January 2, 2026, when the official launch takes place. Deliveries are expected to begin from mid-January 2026, so early reservations will give buyers the chance to be among the first to own the new Seltos.
