Mahindra has officially announced that the bookings of the upcoming XUV 7XO 7-seater SUV will commence from December 15, 2025. Interested customers will have the option to book the new Mahindra XUV7XO online or at authorised dealerships by paying a token amount of Rs 21000. For people not in the know, it is basically the rebranded XUV700 facelift and joins the XUV 3XO in the new Mahindra XUV range.
The new Mahindra XUV 7XO will be launched in the country on January 5, 2025. Estimated to be priced around Rs 14 lakh to Rs 25 lakh, the new SUV will directly rival the Tata Safari.

Going by the teasers, it is visible that the new Mahindra XUV 7XO will have cosmetic design changes and an upmarket cabin. The SUV gets a new red colour paint scheme, new front grille, LED projector headlamps with a Twin-Pod like design and blacked-out outside rear view mirrors. Other design changes include new bumpers, new LED DRLs, and connected light bar.
The new XUV 7XO shares its electronic architecture with the new XEV 9S electric SUV. It will have a triple screen setup comprising a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, a 12.3-inch driver’s display and a 12.3-inch co-passenger entertainment screen. Other features could include 16-speakers Harman/Kardon speakers with Dolby Atmos, auto dimming IRVM, front parking sensors and an updated LEVEL 2+ ADAS.
The Mahindra XUV 7XO won’t receive any mechanical changes, as it will continue to be offered with a 2.0L turbo petrol and a 2.2L turbo diesel engines. Transmission choices will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
