Mahindra is putting the spotlight firmly on features with the upcoming Mahindra XUV 7XO. Ahead of its launch on January 5, 2026, the brand has teased several new tech and cabin upgrades that clearly set the New 7XO apart from the outgoing XUV700. With Mahindra XUV 7XO booking already open, the SUV is shaping up to be one of the most feature-rich launches in its segment.

One of the biggest highlights of the Mahindra XUV 7XO features is the new 540-degree camera system. It combines multiple camera feeds to offer extended visibility beyond a standard 360-degree setup. This is paired with a new ADAS visualisation layer that shows active safety systems in real time, making driver assistance easier to understand and use.
Mahindra XUV 7XO interior sees a major tech upgrade with a triple-screen dashboard layout, introduced for the first time on a Mahindra ICE SUV. This setup brings together infotainment, driver display and co-passenger screens, creating a more modern and premium cabin experience. A panoramic sunroof further adds to the upmarket feel.
Mahindra has also introduced an in-car theatre mode with BYOD support for rear passengers. Managed through the latest Adrenox+ software, this feature allows users to connect their own devices and enjoy content on the move. The updated system now handles infotainment, connectivity and vehicle intelligence more smoothly.
The fully loaded Mahindra XUV 7XO AX9L trim showcases several comfort-focused upgrades. These include Boss Mode seating, upgraded upholstery, reworked door trims, new air vents and a redesigned centre console. The SUV also gets a new triple-tone dashboard theme and a brown and tan finished steering wheel, giving the cabin a fresh look.
While features take centre stage, the exterior also gets meaningful updates. The XUV 7XO comes with redesigned LED DRLs, projector headlamps and a new lighting signature inspired by Mahindra’s electric models. At the rear, inverted L-shaped LED elements are connected by a full-width light bar. New dual-tone alloy wheels, revised bumpers and fresh exterior colours complete the update.
In terms of Mahindra XUV 7XO specifications, the mechanical setup remains unchanged. The SUV continues with the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines, paired with six-speed manual and automatic gearboxes. This allows Mahindra to focus fully on technology, comfort and safety upgrades.
Mahindra XUV 7XO booking amount is set at Rs 21,000, with buyers able to choose their preferred powertrain and dealership. The Mahindra XUV 7XO launch date is confirmed for January 5, 2026. While the official Mahindra XUV 7XO price will be revealed at launch, a slight premium over the XUV700 is expected due to the extensive feature additions.
