As per current information, the Renault Duster 2026 India launch is planned for January 26. Recent spy images suggest that the SUV is in an advanced stage of testing. The India-spec model will be based on the international Dacia Duster platform, with changes suited for local conditions.
The new Duster features a boxy and upright design. Spy shots show wide wheel arches, a flat bonnet, and a strong road presence. The front is expected to get Y-shaped LED DRLs, new headlamp units, and a revised grille design.
At the rear, the SUV is likely to feature a vertical tailgate, updated tail lamps, and a redesigned bumper. New alloy wheels are also expected with the India-spec version.
The cabin of the 2026 Renault Duster will see major updates compared to the previous model. Spy images indicate an all-black interior with contrast stitching. Renault may offer a multi-screen layout for the dashboard in the Indian market.
Expected features include a touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-zone climate control, OTA updates, a 360-degree camera, and a powered tailgate.
Safety features are likely to include six airbags, electronic stability control, and ADAS-based driver assistance systems.
The test vehicle spotted in India is powered by a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine with a manual gearbox. Renault is also expected to offer a 4×4 drivetrain option, which was previously available on the older Duster.
Hybrid powertrain options and CNG variants may be introduced at a later stage.
New gen Renault Duster will compete in the mid-size SUV segment. Rivals will include the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Tata Sierra, and similar models.
The new gen Renault Duster price is expected to be competitive within the segment. More details on features and pricing are expected closer to the launch of the new Duster in 2026.
