January 2026 will kick off the year with some exciting new car launches. While a few cars are set to officially hit the market in January, others are making their debut but will only be launched in the following months. From electric SUVs to facelifted models, the upcoming January 2026 car launches promise to bring fresh updates and new features to the Indian car market.
Here’s a list of new car launches in January 2026:
The much-awaited new generation Kia Seltos will make its official debut on January 2, 2026. Built on a new K3 platform, the Seltos will offer a larger, more refined design with a digital tiger nose grille, LED lighting, and a modern cabin featuring a 12.3-inch dual display. Engine options will include a 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel engines. Prices are expected to range between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 21 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra is set to unveil the XUV 7XO, a facelifted version of the popular XUV700, on January 5, 2026. The updated SUV will feature a redesigned front grille, L-shaped DRLs, and a new triple-screen dashboard. It will continue with the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engine options. The XUV 7XO is expected to be priced between Rs 15 lakh and Rs 26 lakh (ex-showroom).
Skoda Kushaq facelift is set to launch in India in mid-January 2026. This mid-cycle update will feature a refreshed front grille, redesigned bumpers, and sleeker LED taillights. Inside, the SUV will come with a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS for enhanced safety. Prices are expected to range from Rs 11 lakh to Rs 19 lakh (ex-showroom).
The new-generation Renault Duster will make its Indian debut on January 26, 2026, with a market launch expected by March 2026. Built on the CMF-B platform, the Duster will feature a rugged design and premium interior, including a 10.1-inch touchscreen and full ADAS suite. Prices are expected to range between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).
Maruti Suzuki’s first all-electric SUV, the e-Vitara, will launch in January 2026. With two battery pack options (49kWh and 61kWh), the e-Vitara will offer a range of up to 543 km on a single charge. The electric SUV will feature modern tech like a dual-screen setup, a 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS. Prices are expected between Rs 15 lakh and Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom).
Nissan will unveil its new sub-four-metre seven-seater MPV, the Gravite, in January 2026. Based on the Renault Triber platform, the Gravite will offer a 2+3+2 seating configuration and come with features like an 8-inch touchscreen and safety features including six airbags and a 360-degree camera. The price is expected to range between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom).
Toyota will debut its highly anticipated electric SUV, the Urban Cruiser EV, in January 2026, with a launch expected by March 2026. Based on the Maruti e Vitara, it will offer a range of up to 543 km with two battery options (49kWh and 61kWh). The Urban Cruiser EV will come with a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a 10.1-inch digital driver’s display, and Level 2 ADAS. Expected prices range from Rs 18 lakh to Rs 24 lakh (ex-showroom).
Tata Punch facelift is expected to launch in January 2026, featuring an updated front fascia, new LED headlamps, and a more premium interior. The updated model will come with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and standard safety features, including six airbags. The Punch facelift is expected to be priced between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom).
