Kia Cars to Get Expensive by up to 2%

Kia cars to get pricier by up to 2 per cent New prices will be effective from 1st July 2026

Kia India has increased the prices of its cars by up to 2 per cent across its model range. The new prices will be effective from 1st July 2026. Kia stated that the “revision is necessitated by rising input costs and an overall increase in operational expenditure.”

Kia India is committed to “offer its customers the best-in-class products and ownership experience and has endeavoured to keep the price increase to a minimum by absorbing a significant portion of the cost escalation internally.

The extent of the price increase will vary across models and variants, ensuring that the overall value proposition of each offering is maintained.

Upcoming Kia Cars in India

Kia will soon introduce the long-awaited Syros EV in the Indian market. Likely to arrive by August 2026, the electric SUV will directly rival the Tata Nexon EV and the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV. Adding to it, Kia is testing the new Sorento 7-seater SUV on the Indian roads. The SUV will come with a hybrid powertrain, and it is likely to be launched sometime in early 2027. Next-gen Kia Sonet is also under testing, and it is expected to be revealed at the next year’s Bharat Mobility Global Expo. The Seltos will also receive a strong hybrid engine later next year.
