28 January 2025 - Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor buys the newly launched Mercedes-Maybach GLS Night Series, which comes with unique dual-tone paint scheme. While the upper body is finished in Mojave Silver, the lower half of the SUV is painted in Onyx Black.

21 January 2025 - Mercedes-Benz India has launched the new Maybach GLS 600 Night Series. Priced at Rs 3.71 crore, the new Night Series is the top-spec variant of the Maybach GLS range. It comes with cosmetic upgrades, which costs around Rs 25 lakh over the current model.

Engine and Transmission

The facelifted Maybach GLS 600 comes with a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine that belts out 557PS of max power and 770Nm of peak torque. It also gets a 48V mild-hybrid system that supplies an additional boost of 22PS and 250Nm. 

A 9-speed automatic transmission takes care of transmission duties, sending power to all four wheels via a 4MATIC drive system, enabling the SUV to do the 0-100 kmph sprint in only 4.9 seconds. It has a top speed of 250 kmph.

Dimensions and Boot Space

The Mercedes Maybach GLS is 5205mm long, 2157mm wide and 1838mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 3135mm. It offers a boot space of 525 litres with rear seats in place.
