Urban Cruiser Electric Launch Date

Toyota is yet to reveal the launch date of the new Urban Cruiser EV officially. It is expected that the new Toyota Urban Cruiser EV will launch in the first quarter of 2026, around February-March.

The new Toyota EV is expected to come in 3 variants. The new Urban Cruiser EV is expected to be priced between Rs 1500000 and Rs END_Price, ex-showroom, Pan-India.

Safety Features

The new Toyota Urban Cruiser EV will come with 7 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP and traction control system, tyre pressure monitoring system, 360 degree camera and others for safety and security. It also has LEVEL 2 ADAS tech with features like autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist, lane departure prevention, rear cross traffic alert and others. 

Battery Specifications

The new Urban Cruiser EV shares its battery and electric motors with the e Vitara. It has two battery choices - a 48.8kWh and a 61.1kWh - both with a front-axle-mounted electric motor. The electric SUV is likely to offer a range of up to 500km on a single charge.

Dimensions

In terms of proportions, the new Urban Cruiser EV is 4285mm in length, 1800mm in width and 1640mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2700mm. This is 10mm longer and 5mm taller than the e Vitara. The SUV has a ground clearance of 180mm.
