2026 Honda Jazz gets a sharper front design with split-LED headlamps New 10.1-inch touchscreen added, engine setup remains unchanged Launched in China with aggressive pricing; India launch unlikely
Honda has officially revealed the 2026 Honda Jazz facelift, also known as the Honda Fit in some global markets. The updated hatchback has debuted in China through GAC Honda and brings refreshed styling, minor dimensional changes and a revised equipment strategy as the brand looks to stay relevant in a fast-changing market.

New Honda Jazz gets a sharper and more modern look at the front. The biggest change is the new split-LED headlamp setup, paired with a slimmer upper grille and a more sculpted front bumper. Together, these updates give the 2026 Jazz a more aggressive and contemporary face compared to the outgoing model.
Honda has also introduced three new exterior colours - Dynamic Blue, Fiery Yellow and Starry Night White.
While the overall silhouette of the Honda Jazz remains unchanged, the facelifted model has grown slightly in length. It now measures 4,169mm, while the wheelbase stays the same at 2,530mm. Signature elements like circular wheel arches, 15-inch wheels, body-coloured door handles and the sloping roofline continue.
At the rear, the car retains its 3D-style tail lamps and shark-fin antenna. However, a revised rear bumper adds more visual bulk and contributes to the increase in overall length.

Inside, the Honda Jazz 2026 sticks to a familiar and simple cabin layout. Honda has focused on practicality rather than a complete redesign. The key upgrade is a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, replacing the smaller unit from before. This is paired with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster.
The rest of the cabin remains basic, featuring fabric seat upholstery, a two-speaker audio system and a no-frills equipment list. Notably, features like Honda’s Magic Seats and the Honda Sensing safety suite are missing on this China-spec model, highlighting its budget-focused positioning.
Powering the New Honda Jazz is the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated i-VTEC petrol engine. It produces 122 bhp and 145 Nm of torque and is paired with a CVT automatic gearbox. Hybrid powertrains available in other international markets are not offered on this version.
One of the biggest highlights of the 2026 Jazz is its pricing. It starts at CNY 66,800, which roughly translates to Rs 8.7 lakh. Honda plans to limit production to around 3,000 units, clearly positioning the car as an affordable alternative to budget electric vehicles in China.
Honda Jazz once enjoyed strong popularity in India, especially for its space and reliability. However, the model was discontinued due to stricter emission norms and rising competition. As of now, Honda has not indicated any plans to bring the Honda Jazz 2026 or its facelifted version back to the Indian market.
