Volvo Cars is all set to reveal the 2026 Volvo EX60 on 21 January. This new electric mid-size SUV will be one of Volvo’s most advanced cars yet, focusing on smart technology, long driving range and everyday comfort.
The new EX60 will also be the first Volvo to feature Google Gemini AI, making it a car you can talk to in a natural and easy way.

One of the biggest highlights of the Volvo EX60 features is the new Gemini AI assistant from Google. Drivers can speak naturally to the car without remembering fixed voice commands.
You can ask the car to find an address from your emails, check if luggage will fit in the boot, or even plan a road trip. The system works hands-free, helping drivers stay focused on the road.
The Volvo EX60 interior is designed to feel calm, modern and intelligent. The infotainment system is fast and smooth, with instant map loading and quick screen responses.
Thanks to powerful processors from Qualcomm and NVIDIA, the system understands voice commands better and reacts without lag. Everything is built to make driving simpler and less distracting.

The 2026 Volvo EX60 introduces Volvo’s new core system called HuginCore. It controls the car’s software, hardware and safety systems.
This system allows the EX60 to learn from real-world driving data. It can improve safety features over time and react better to different driving situations.
When it comes to performance, the Volvo EX60 range stands out. Volvo claims the electric SUV can travel up to 810km on a single charge in all-wheel-drive form.
With a 400kW fast charger, the EX60 can add up to 340km of range in just 10 minutes, making long trips easier and quicker.
Like other modern Volvo cars, the Volvo EX60 2026 will receive regular over-the-air updates. This means features, safety systems and software will keep improving even after purchase.
Over time, Gemini AI will also become more advanced and could even use the car’s cameras to answer questions about surroundings.
Volvo has not revealed the official Volvo EX60 price yet. However, it is expected to be positioned as a premium electric SUV, sitting above the EX40 in the global lineup.
More details about variants and pricing should be shared closer to the Volvo EX60 release date.
