Nissan Motor India has officially confirmed the Nissan Gravite launch for January 21, 2026. The upcoming Nissan Gravite MPV will mark the start of Nissan’s next product phase in India, focusing on locally made models for both Indian buyers and exports.

The New Gravite MPV 2026 launch comes at a strong time for Nissan. In December 2025, the brand recorded its highest export numbers in over a decade, shipping 13,470 vehicles overseas. Domestic sales stood at 1,902 units, taking total sales to 15,372 units for the month.
The Gravite will be the first of three new Nissan products planned for India over the next two years.
The Nissan Gravite will be built on the CMF-A platform, which also underpins the Renault Triber. Despite sharing its base, Nissan has given the Gravite a distinct look.
Up front, it gets a wide blacked-out grille, a slim LED light strip, integrated headlamps, and subtle bonnet creases. The Gravite nameplate is clearly visible, as seen in official teasers.
Inside, the Nissan Gravite interior will offer a three-row layout with a modular seating arrangement. The focus will be on space, practicality, and ease of use for families.
Expected highlights include a clean dashboard layout, flexible third-row seating, and multiple storage spaces.
Powering the Nissan Gravite MPV will be a 1.0-litre petrol engine, offered in both naturally aspirated and turbo-petrol versions.
Buyers can expect manual and automatic transmission options, keeping convenience and affordability in mind.
One of the biggest highlights will be its pricing. Nissan Gravite price expectations suggest the MPV will be aggressively priced to take on rivals in the compact MPV segment.
Competitive pricing is expected to be one of the Gravite’s strongest selling points in India.
After the Gravite, Nissan will unveil the Tekton, a new five-seater C-segment SUV, on February 4, 2026. A larger seven-seat C-SUV is also planned for 2027.
All upcoming Nissan models will be manufactured in India, with selective exports to global markets. Nissan is also expanding its dealer and service network, targeting 250 outlets by FY2027.
With the Nissan Gravite launch just weeks away, the MPV is set to play a key role in Nissan’s comeback strategy. More details on features, variants, and final pricing are expected closer to launch.
