Safety Features

For safety and security, the new Skoda Octavia RS gets 10 airbags, a 360-degree surround view camera, electronic stability control (ESC), ABS with EBD, hydraulic brake assist, and auto park assist. The performance sedan gets a full suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane keep assist, blind spot detection, etc. 

Engine Specifications

Powering the Skoda Octavia RS is a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This engine produces 261bhp and 370Nm of torque. It is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph acceleration in just 6.4 seconds before hitting an electronically limited top speed of 250kmph. The sedan comes with an electronic differential lock for maximum grip for better exit speeds around corners. 

Skoda Octavia RS Mileage

Skoda has not released the official fuel economy of the new Octavia RS performance sedan. It is expected to offer a mileage of around 14-15kmpl.

The new Octavia RS performance sedan is available in 5 interesting exterior colours - Mamba Green, Candy White, Magic Black, Velvet Red and Race Blue. 

Dimensions and Boot Space

In terms of proportions, the new Skoda Octavia RS is 4709mm in length, 1829mm in width and 1457mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2677mm. The performance sedan has an unladen ground clearance of 128mm, which ensures high speed stability. The Octavia RS has a boot space of 600-litres, which is more than sufficient to carry 3-4 suitcases. 

Competition

The Skoda Octavia RS has no direct rival in our market. It comes as a sportier alternative to the Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limousine, BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, and the Audi A4.
