Second Octavia RS batch limited to just 50 units. Price rises to Rs 56.69 lakh from Rs 49.99 lakh. 265hp 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with 7-speed DSG.
The Skoda Octavia RS is back in India with a second limited allocation, but buyers will have to pay considerably more this time. The performance sedan is now priced at Rs 56.69 lakh (ex-showroom), making the latest batch Rs 6.70 lakh more expensive than the first allocation.
The first batch was priced at Rs 49.99 lakh and included 100 units. It sold out quickly, prompting Skoda to bring the performance sedan back for another limited run. However, the second allocation has been cut to just 50 units, making the new Octavia RS even more exclusive. Customer deliveries for the second batch are scheduled to begin next week.

The new price of Rs 56.69 lakh represents a Rs 6.70 lakh increase over the first batch. While the car continues with the same engine and performance package, the smaller allocation means there will be fewer opportunities for buyers to get one. The higher price is likely to be one of the biggest talking points around the second batch, especially considering how quickly the first 100 units were sold.
The Octavia RS continues to use a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine. It develops 265hp and 370Nm of peak torque and sends power to the front wheels through a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. Skoda has also equipped the RS with a sportier chassis setup. It gets sports suspension, progressive steering and a sports exhaust system. The performance sedan can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 6.4 seconds, while its top speed is electronically limited to 250kmph.
The Octavia RS gets several styling changes that distinguish it from the regular Octavia. The front end features a gloss-black grille, RS-specific bumpers and LED Matrix headlights, along with LED tail lamps and RS badging. The sedan rides on 19-inch alloy wheels paired with contrast red brake callipers. Black exterior detailing and dual exhaust outlets further add to its sporty appearance.
Inside, the Octavia RS gets RS sports seats and a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel. The dashboard features a 13-inch infotainment touchscreen and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Other equipment includes dual-zone climate control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging and ambient lighting. The cabin also gets a Canton audio system, electrically adjustable and heated front seats, and a panoramic sunroof, depending on the India-specification.
The second allocation makes the Skoda Octavia RS even rarer in India. With just 50 units on offer, the latest batch is half the size of the first allocation. At Rs 56.69 lakh, it is also significantly more expensive than the original batch. With deliveries starting next week, interested buyers will have another chance to own the 265hp performance sedan, but availability is expected to remain limited.
