Skoda Slavia facelift gets five major updates New 8-speed automatic added to the 1.0 TSI Gets 360-degree camera and rear-seat massage
Skoda Auto India has launched the updated Slavia in India with prices starting at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The facelift gets fresh styling, new features and a new 8-speed automatic gearbox for the 1.0-litre TSI engine. The existing 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre TSI petrol engines continue, but the updated sedan gets several important changes. Here are the five biggest highlights of the new Skoda Slavia facelift.
The 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine continues to produce 114bhp and 178Nm. It is available with a 6-speed manual gearbox, while the facelift introduces a new 8-speed torque-converter automatic. This new gearbox replaces the earlier 6-speed torque-converter automatic. The same 8-speed automatic is also available with the Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun. The 1.5-litre TSI engine continues with the 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox.

One of the biggest feature additions is the 360-degree camera. It uses cameras mounted on the front grille, ORVMs and tailgate to provide a bird's-eye view of the sedan. This should make parking and manoeuvring in tight spaces easier. The Slavia is also the first model from Volkswagen Group India's 2.0 programme to get a 360-degree camera.
The Slavia facelift gets a rear-seat massage function, giving the sedan a stronger focus on rear-seat comfort. The feature is available for the two outer rear seats. The middle passenger does not get the massage function as the centre seat comes with a fold-down armrest.
The updated Slavia gets a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, replacing the earlier 8-inch unit. It gets updated graphics and turn-by-turn navigation. The sedan also gets a new 10-inch infotainment system with built-in connectivity. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are available as well. Another addition is the Google Cloud Automotive AI Agent and Gemini-based voice assistance.
The Slavia facelift gets several styling changes, starting with new all-LED headlights and sequential LED indicators. The grille has also been redesigned with chrome-finished vertical slats. The front bumper gets a new 3D arrow-like air intake, while LED projector fog lights replace the earlier halogen units. At the rear, the sedan gets updated LED taillights with sequential indicators. The Monte Carlo variant also gets red brake callipers and all-black alloy wheels.
The facelifted Slavia is available in 10 exterior colour options, excluding dual-tone combinations. Two new shades have been added — Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige.
The new Slavia is available in six variants, priced from Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 18.84 lakh (ex-showroom). The range includes Classic, Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige and Monte Carlo variants.
