Honda Elevate facelift gets a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera and ventilated seats. Skoda Slavia facelift adds massage seats, Google Cloud AI and a new 8-speed automatic. Both models get more comfort, technology and safety features.
Honda and Skoda are bringing major updates to two of their popular models in India. The Honda Elevate facelift and Skoda Slavia facelift are set to get several new features, with both models focusing on better comfort, technology and safety. The updates are mainly focused on the cabin and equipment, rather than major design changes. Here is what is new on the two models.
The Honda Elevate facelift gets several features that were missing from the outgoing model. One of the biggest additions is a panoramic sunroof, replacing the smaller sunroof offered on the current SUV. Honda is also adding a 360-degree camera, which should make parking and tight manoeuvres easier. The SUV will also get ventilated front seats and a powered driver's seat for the first time. The updated Elevate is also expected to get an improved version of Honda Sensing with Level 2 ADAS. The system brings features such as lane-keeping assistance and collision mitigation.

The Skoda Slavia facelift also gets a long list of new features. The biggest comfort upgrade is the addition of massage function for the front seats, along with ventilation. The sedan will also get a new 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a Google Cloud-powered AI companion. A 360-degree Area View camera will also be available, along with sequential LED turn indicators. Another major update is the automatic gearbox. The 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine is set to get a new 8-speed automatic transmission, replacing the existing torque-converter automatic.
Both models are expected to offer a stronger feature package than before. The Elevate gets its focus on parking assistance, seat comfort and ADAS, while the Slavia adds more premium features such as massage seats and connected technology. The Slavia's 1.5-litre version is also expected to get rear disc brakes, adding to its safety equipment.
The prices of the updated Honda Elevate and Skoda Slavia are expected to be announced soon. With the added features, both models are likely to see a price increase over their outgoing versions. The new features should help the Elevate and Slavia stay competitive against newer models that offer more technology and comfort features in their respective segments.
