Mercedes Maybach S-Class facelift launching on October 5, 2026 Elevate facelift and Slavia facelift launch on October 6, 2026
The Indian automotive market is all set to witness the arrival of new models, with three high-profile facelifts set to launch back-to-back starting October 5, 2026. The Mercedes Maybach S-Class facelift is scheduled to be launched on 5th October. On the other hand, Honda Elevate facelift and Skoda Slavia facelift will go on sale in our market on October 6, 2026.
The Mercedes Maybach S-Class facelift comes with significant design and interior changes. It features a 20% larger illuminated Maybach grille along with updated digital light headlights and revised tail-lamps. It comes with MB.OS architecture paired with the 4th generation MBUX infotainment, generative AI voice control, and over-the-air (OTA) updates. The luxurious saloon gets executive rear seats that recline up to 43 degrees, controlled via new smartphone-style handheld controllers. It is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 biturbo that produces 530+ bhp, while the PHEV variants deliver up to 98 km of pure electric range.

Honda Cars India will give the Elevate a mid-life upgrade with cosmetic design changes and upgraded cabin. Pre-bookings are already open across dealerships. It gets a bolder-gloss-black front grille with hexagonal mesh elements. The Honda logo is now placed on the bonnet lip, complemented by new LED DRLs. The SUV gets a full-width connected LED light bar spans across the tailgate. Inside the cabin, the Elevate facelift will have new leatherette upholstery with contrasting stitching along the dashboard and door trims. It is expected to get a 360-degree surround view camera. The SUV will continue to be powered by a 121 PS / 145 Nm, 1.5L i-VTEC naturally-aspirated petrol engine paired to either a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox.
The Slavia facelift will get cosmetic design and interior changes along with a longer list of features. It will get Skoda's signature butterfly grille, updated LED headlight graphics and sporty bumper tweaks. Inside the cabin, the sedan gets an upgraded digital instrument console, enhanced ventilation controls and rear massage seats. It will continue to be powered by a 1.0L 3-cylinder turbo petrol and a 1.5L 4-cylinder TSI turbo petrol. Transmission choices will include a 6-speed manual, an 8-speed torque converter automatic and a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox.
