The homegrown UV maker, Mahindra is redefining the electric vehicle space. The brand offers the XEV 9e electric SUV as part of their Born Electric Vision which presents futuristic mobility and delivers cutting-edge technology, impressive performance, and sustainable luxury. This SUV is built on a newborn electric platform, INGLO.
Let's have a deeper look at what the XEV 9e has packed for us.

The XEV 9e comes with a coupe roofline, an upright bonnet with a closed-off grille, also the fascia highlights with inverted L-shaped connected LED DRLs and aerodynamically styled 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The lower closed grille offers an air dam that directs airflow to cool the battery. It also gets an illuminated ‘Infinity’ logo in the center of the bonnet.
The SUV provides an enhanced experience with gloss black cladding and high-ground clearance. It has flush-type door handles with NFC support for locking and unlocking the doors.

In the interior, the electric SUV features a Mercedes-like triple screen offering a 12.3-inch central touchscreen infotainment unit, a 12.3-inch digital driver's display, and a 12.3-inch co-passenger display.
Other features that the XEV 9e offers are a 16-speaker Harman Kardon system with Dolby Atmos, Level 2+ ADAS, 360-degree surround view camera, panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, a HUD, wireless connectivity, electrically adjustable driver's seat and many more.

The XEV 9e is based on a new, born electric platform INGLO, and comes in two battery pack options. The 59 kWh variant of the XEV 9e offers a range of 542 km according to MIDC testing. The 79 kWh battery gives a much greater range, it is claimed to offer the MIDC range of 656km on a single charge.
For those who want to charge their car at home, there are two charger options that they can use. One is a 7.2 kW that costs Rs. 50,000 and 11.2 kW costs Rs. 75,000.
*Both are these chargers are sold individually, so the vehicle prices do not include the chargers.

The electric SUV is available in seven different colors that you can choose from. The colors are Everest White, Satin Deep Forest, Tango Red, Nebula Blue, Desert Myst, Satin Ruby Velvet, and Stealth Black.
The price for this Mahindra electric SUV differs as per its variants, starting from Pack One which is the base variant priced at Rs 21.90 (ex-showroom), Pack Two which is just above the base spec is offered at Rs 24.90 (ex-showroom), and Pack Three, is offered in two options that are Rs 27.90 (ex-showroom) for the smaller battery pack and Rs 30.50 (ex-showroom) for a larger pack.
Both electric SUVs, BE 6 and XEV 9e come with a lifetime warranty for the first registered owners. The battery of the cars alone has 10 years or you can say 200,000 km, whichever comes first.
This warranty is specifically valid for private vehicle registrations, which gives customers long-term protection on their electric vehicle's battery.
