Tata Motors recently unveiled the 2023 Safari and Harrier SUVs with major updates inside out. With appealing designs and advanced technology, both models are currently alluring every SUV lover out there. Interested customers can book the new SUVs for a token amount of Rs 25,000. Now that we have more information on the feature list of the new Tata Safari, here is a quick look at its variant-wise specification.
The 2023 Tata Safari comes powered by a 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine that produces 170 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. The engine is paired to either a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission only on the higher trims.
Following a nomenclature as the new Tata Nexon, the Safari facelift is offered in a total of 10 variants. These include Smart (O), Pure (O), Adventure, Adventure+, Adventure+ Dark, Accomplished, Accomplished Dark, Accomplished+ Dark, Adventure+ ADAS, and Accomplished+.
Let's take a look at each variant of Safari facelift for what smart features are on offer:
The Smart (O) trim gets features like an LED projector headlamp, connected LED tail lamp, LED DRLS, 17-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, fully automatic temperature control, hill hold control, ABS with EBD, all power windows, 3-point seat belt with reminder for all seats, ISOFIX, rear parking sensor, and more.
In addition to Smart (O) features, the Pure (O) trim gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 10.25-inch digital infotainment cluster, six speakers, wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, reverse camera, rear washer & wiper, steering mounted controls, and more.
The Adventure trims provide features such as cruise control, 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, height-adjustable driver’s seat, ambient lighting, keyless go, rear defogger, driving modes – Eco, City, Sport, rear window sunshades, front armrest with cooled storage, and more.
In addition to Adventure, the Adventure + trim gets 18-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, a wireless charger, automatic headlights, an air purifier, automatic wipers, all-wheel disc brakes, and more.

With the Adventure+ A, the new Safari comes equipped with an ADAS suite with 11 key features including adaptive cruise control with stop & go and advanced ESP with driver doze off alert.
In Fearless, customers get additional features which include animated front and rear LED DRLs, a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, a JBL-tuned 9 speaker, dual-zone climate control, airline-like headrests for the second row, ESP with driver doze off feature, LED fog lamps with cornering function, and a lot more.
This one comes with a powered tailgate, seven airbags, ADAS features, a JBL-tuned 10-speaker system, connected car tech, and emergency & breakdown call assist.
For different trim levels, Tata offers unique colour options for the SUV. The lower trims; Smart (O) and Pure (O) get two colour options - Stellar Frost and Lunar Slate. The Adventure trims are available in four colour choices: Supernova Copper, Stardust Ash, Stellar Frost, and Galactic Sapphire. Its top-spec Accomplished variants are provided with four colour options - Stellar Frost, Cosmic Gold, Galactic Sapphire, and Stardust Ash.
