After months of waiting, Audi India has finally decided to bring the Q3 SUV back to the country and has opened bookings for the same. Ahead of its launch next month, the German luxury carmaker has revealed some essential details about the new luxury SUV which is set to undergo a major design overhaul inspired by the company’s flagship SUVs.
Customers can book the New Audi Q3 online via the Audi India website (www.audi.in) or through the ‘myAudi connect’ App for a token amount of Rs 2 lakh. The first 500 customers will receive several ownership benefits including a 2+3 Year Extended Warranty and a 3 years/50,000 kilometres comprehensive Service Value Package. The company has also planned benefits for existing customers on their new purchase. Deliveries are scheduled to start by the end of this year.

Making the announcement, Mr. Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, said, “The new Audi Q3 has a fan following of its own in India and is loved by one and all. It has been our best-selling model and we are overjoyed to open bookings in addition to announcing all the fantastic features and ownership benefits. With the new Audi Q3, we are offering a stellar proposition with its new look and best-in-class features.”

The New-Gen Q3 will be offered in two variants, Premium Plus and Technology. The former is the base variant of the SUVs line-up while the Technology trim gets multiple feature additions.

All customers will get features such as (R18) 5-arm Style alloy wheels, LED Headlamps with LED rear combination lamps, decorative inserts in silver aluminium, ambient lighting package (single colour), a 2-zone climate control system, frameless auto-dimming interior rear-view mirror, digital instrument cluster and more as standard.

In the Technology trim customers will be offered MMI Navigation Plus with MMI Touch, Audi Drive Select, Audi Virtual Cockpit, 30 colour ambient lighting, 10 speakers - Audi Sound System, electrically opening and closing boot, comfort key with gesture-controlled tailgate and a wireless charging system.

Powering the Audi Q3 will be the familiar 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine from the Volkswagen group, producing 190bhp and 320 Nm of peak torque. The luxury SUV is also expected to get the Quattro all-wheel drive system as standard.

In India, the Q3 rivals the likes of Mercedes Benz GLA, Volvo XC40 and BMW X1 in its segment.
