Maruti e Vitara is Maruti's first electric SUV with a 500 km range and Level 2 ADAS. Maruti Grand Vitara 7-Seater offers a spacious 3-row layout to rival the Tata Safari and XUV700. The Micro SUV is a compact hybrid SUV designed for India, with a launch expected by 2026.
Maruti Suzuki is preparing for an exciting future with several new models set to launch over the next two years. With a strong focus on SUVs, the company is expanding its portfolio to include electric, hybrid, and alternative fuel options.
Here’s a look at four upcoming Maruti cars launching soon:
Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch its first all-electric SUV, the e Vitara. Expected to hit the market soon, the e Vitara will be built on the Heartect e architecture, which promises a balance of performance and efficiency. The electric SUV will offer two battery pack options that will support fast charging for quicker power-ups.
The e Vitara is expected to provide a range of over 500 km on a single charge, making it a strong competitor in the growing EV market. Additionally, it will be equipped with Level 2 ADAS for enhanced safety and modern tech features. The e Vitara will be available exclusively through Nexa outlets, marking Maruti’s entry into the premium electric vehicle segment.

Maruti Suzuki is reportedly working on a 7-seater variant of the popular Grand Vitara SUV. The extended version would compete with established models like the Tata Safari and Mahindra XUV700.
The 7-seater Grand Vitara is expected to offer additional seating capacity and a more spacious cabin. This will make it a perfect choice for families looking for a larger, more comfortable SUV. With the increasing demand for three-row SUVs in the Indian market, the launch of the Grand Vitara 7-seater could be a game-changer for Maruti Suzuki.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx Hybrid facelift will feature a significant upgrade with the introduction of a Super Ene-Charge 48V mild-hybrid system paired with a 1.0 to 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, promising improved fuel efficiency and better performance. Expected to deliver a fuel economy of over 35kmpl, it could become the most fuel-efficient SUV in India.
The Fronx facelift will also be the first sub-4m SUV to offer Level 2 ADAS, along with six airbags, ESP, hill hold assist, and a 360-degree camera for added safety. A refreshed design will include a new grille, updated bumpers, and improved interior features like an electric sunroof and upgraded infotainment system. The Fronx Hybrid is expected to debut in 2026, with a price slightly higher than the current petrol variant.
Maruti Suzuki is also working on a new micro SUV that will be designed specifically for Indian buyers. Slated for launch around late 2026 or early 2027, this compact SUV will slot below the current Maruti SUV lineup and compete with rivals like the Hyundai Exter and Tata Punch.
The micro SUV will target urban buyers who need a small, efficient vehicle for city driving. The model is also expected to feature an in-house developed hybrid powertrain, giving customers an eco-friendly option in a compact package.
