Mahindra is excited to launch two new electric brands (XEV and BE) on November 26, 2024. Both XEV 9e and BE 6e will make their debut at the Unlimit India World Premiere in Chennai. This launch will also be a part of Mahindra's strategy to enter the luxury segment of the electric car market.
Mahindra's new electric origin SUVs are the production models of the XUV.e9 and BE.05 concepts. These EVs will be based on the INGLO platform, offering class-leading safety standards, impressive range, and a thrilling driving experience.
Further, both electric SUVs will feature Qualcomm chips for a connected car platform to enhance the user experience. The price for the new electric SUVs could fall under Rs 35 lakh (ex-showroom). The brand is also likely to announce plans for EV charging infrastructure.
Look-wise, both Mahindra electric SUVs will have a muscular body shape and aggressive-looking design features. In terms of features, the brand will offer twin-spoke steering wheels, a rotary knob, a floating-styled centre console, and a 10.25-inch dual-screen setup for infotainment and instrument cluster.
