Mahindra XUV 7XO and XEV 9S Records Over 93K Bookings - Rs 20,500 Crore in the Bank

Mahindra XUV 7XO top variants delivery begins XEV 9S deliveries to commence from January 26, 2026

Mahindra has officially started accepting bookings for its newest SUVs - the XEV 9S and the XUV 7XO. The company has received an overwhelming response for both SUVs, recording 93,689 bookings across both vehicles with a booking value of over Rs 20,500 crore (calculated at ex-showroom price) till 2 PM on January 14, 2026. This means, that Mahindra achieved this milestone in just 4 hours.

Mahindra XEV 9S and XUV 7XO Delivery Details

Deliveries for the new Mahindra XUV 7XO has been commenced. The company will initially deliver only top-spec variants, AX7, AX7 Tech and AX7 Luxury, while the deliveries of lower variants will commence from April onwards. The company has also announced that the deliveries for the new XEV 9S 7-seater electric SUV will commence from January 26, 2026.

XUV 7XO Engine Options

Mahindra XUV 7XO Deliveries Begin

The new 7-seater SUV is available with two engine options - a 2.0L mStallion turbo petrol and a 2.2L mHawk diesel. Both engines are paired to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. While the petrol engine produces 197bhp and 380Nm, the diesel engine produces 184bhp and up to 450Nm of torque. The top-spec diesel gets an AWD system.

XEV 9S Specifications

The Mahindra XEV 9S electric SUV comes with three battery options - 59kWh, 70kWh, and 79kWh. The 59kWh battery variant offers a range of 521 km, while the 70kWh variant provides 600 km. The 79kWh battery option offers the longest range of 679 km. The SUV supports up to 175kW fast charging.
