Maruti Suzuki Escudo SUV is set to become the most advanced model ever sold through Maruti’s Arena dealerships. With its smart technology, premium comfort features, and strong focus on safety, the Escudo aims to set a new standard in the mid-size SUV market.
Maruti Escudo will be the first vehicle from the brand to offer Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), putting it in the same league as premium rivals like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.
It will also debut as the first Maruti to come equipped with Dolby Atmos audio, offering rich and immersive sound. Along with a panoramic sunroof, a fully digital instrument cluster, and a large infotainment screen, it will deliver a mix of luxury and modern engineering.
Maruti Suzuki Escudo SUV will debut with Level 2 ADAS, a first for the brand. This includes features like adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, and auto high beam. These technologies enhance both safety and driving convenience, making the Escudo one of the safest SUVs in its class.
Maruti is introducing Dolby Atmos audio for the first time in the Escudo. This premium audio system delivers 360-degree sound clarity, offering a rich, immersive listening experience usually found in luxury cars.
The Escudo will come loaded with top-end features, such as a powered tailgate, Head-Up Display (HUD), wireless charging, ambient lighting, ventilated seats, and a 360-degree camera. These features make it one of the most feature-rich SUVs in the Arena lineup.
A strong hybrid option is expected, combining a petrol engine with an electric motor for better performance and fuel efficiency. The hybrid setup could use a 1.5-litre Atkinson cycle petrol engine paired with an e-CVT gearbox, making it an eco-friendly yet capable option.
While the Grand Vitara offers AWD, the Maruti Suzuki Escudo SUV is expected to go a step further with a proper 4WD system on higher petrol trims. This will make it ideal for those who enjoy off-road trips and challenging terrains.
Maruti Suzuki is aiming for top safety scores in both Global NCAP and Bharat NCAP crash tests. The inclusion of multiple airbags, strong build quality, and active safety systems shows that safety is a priority.
Maruti Suzuki Escudo SUV will be sold via Arena dealerships but will likely be the most expensive product in the network due to its premium features and technology. With its blend of advanced driver assistance, luxury amenities, and capable performance, the Escudo is set to redefine what buyers can expect from an Arena SUV.
