Hyundai Creta stands out as one of the brand's most successful models. Recently, the Creta received a facelift that has captured the hearts of many customers. With its stylish design, advanced features, and reliable performance, the compact SUV has become a big hit. It sells about 12,000 units per month. To boost sales even more, Hyundai plans to add more new versions of the SUV in early 2025.
It is believed that the upcoming Hyundai cars in India could include the Creta N Line and the Creta EV. Further, the brand is likely to bring a facelift to the Creta-based Alcazar three-row SUV. This move aims to increase profits by selling more vehicles.

After Hyundai i20 N Line and Venue N Line, the Korean automaker is gearing up to introduce the third model in its N Line portfolio. Likely to be named Hyundai Creta N Line, the model is expected to arrive by early 2025.
Compared to the Creta Facelift, the Creta N Line will get subtle changes from the outside and inside. The exterior changes might include N Line-specific red accents and faux-brushed aluminium elements. While on the interior, expect an all-black colour theme, a steering wheel with red stitching, and an N Line-specific gear lever.
As for the powertrain options, the upcoming Hyundai Creta N Line is anticipated to be equipped with a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. With this engine, the Creta Facelift offers a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, however, for the Creta N Line, the gearbox option is yet to be revealed.
Like other N Line models, the automaker is expected to include adjusted steering dynamics, a sportier suspension setup, and a more performance-oriented exhaust system.
Focusing on the expansion of its electric vehicle portfolio, the automaker is expected to introduce the electric version of the Creta. This is not the first time that we are hearing of this update, last year we had witnessed a couple of spy shots of the same. Now on the sidelines of the Creta Facelift launch, we are to believe that this variant could be in the offering.
Scheduled to make an entry towards the end of 2024, this SUV will feature a unique exterior styling. On the inside, it will draw inspiration from the Hyundai Ioniq 5. Under the skin, the four-wheeler is expected to feature a 45kWh battery pack supplied by LG Chem, a reputable battery manufacturer. This battery pack is said to deliver a maximum power output of 136 bhp with 255 Nm of peak torque.
Next in line will be the existing three-row SUV, the Hyundai Alcazar. Whether it would be a facelift or a new prefix to the model, time will only tell. What we can say is that considering it will be based on the Creta Facelift, the upcoming vehicle will offer all the bells and whistles.
Recent sightings of heavily camouflaged test mules substantiate our statement as upgrades on the exterior and interior are very much evident. Some of the key design highlights will include a new front grille and bumper. A redesigned tailgate featuring connected tail lamps positioned horizontally will also be on the cards. As of now, there are no expected changes in the powertrain options. This model is scheduled for a mid-2024 introduction.
