South Korean automaker Kia Cars entered the Indian market in 2019. Since its entry, the company has gained huge popularity and established itself as a strong player in the highly competitive Indian car market. The company currently stands at 5th position in the list of top selling car manufacturers in India.
The list of Kia cars in India includes Kia Seltos, Sonet, Carens and the EV6 electric crossover. Out of these 4 models, the Kia Seltos is the best-selling model in the brand's line-up in our market. The Kai Sonet and Carens are also receiving excellent response from buyers, helping Kia to strongly position itself in the market.

First launched in 2019, the Kia Seltos is the best-selling Kia Car in India. The company has sold over 9,000 units of the SUV every month since its inception in the highly competitive mid-sized SUV category. The SUV rivals the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Honda Elevate and others.

Kia had introduced the updated Seltos in the country in July 2023. The new model has received significant changes to both outside and inside. The cabin has received maximum changes with several segment-leading features. It features a layered dashboard finished with premium soft-touch materials and glossy black finish.
The SUV comes with a new dual 10.25-inch connected screens for infotainment and a digital instrument console. The infotainment unit has improved user interface and has an in-built navigation system. It is compatible with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay along with a voice assist feature. There is an all-new centre console with slimmer air-con vents and new HVAC controls.
The Seltos cabin appears way more premium than most of its competitors, thanks to use of soft touch materials and different colour combinations. The SUV is fitted with several features like a 360 degree surround view camera, a dual-zone climate control, an 8-inch HUD, electronic parking brake, rain sensing wipers & a Bose-tuned 8-speaker system. The seats are comfortable and have leatherette upholstery, which allows Kia to add ventilated function in the front seats.

The front fascia has an all-new bumper, a revised larger grille and a revised, sharper headlamp unit with new LED daytime running lights. The DRLs merge nicely into the grille, while the four-block design for the fog lamps give it a sporty profile.
The SUV has a floating-type roof, chrome window-line, prominent roof rails finished in black and ORVMs with integrated LED DRLs. At the back, the new Kia Seltos comes with new inverted L-shaped tail-lights connected by an LED light bar, and an all-new bumper.
The new Seltos also comes with multiple colour options including 9 solid colours and two dual-tone paint schemes. It gets a new Pewter Olive exterior paint scheme, which is also popular among buyers. The top-spec Turbo petrol variant also comes with dual exhaust tips. Adding to it, the higher variants get bigger 18-inch alloy wheels. The SUV also gets a factory-fitted panoramic sunroof.
The new Kia Seltos comes equipped with an advanced driver assistant system (ADAS) with features like forward collision warning assist, emergency braking, lane assist, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control and others. The other safety and security features include six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), hill start assist, all-wheel disc brakes, a tyre pressure monitoring system and 3-point seat belts as standard.

Other features include Bose premium sound system with 8 speakers, ventilated front seats, a 64-colour ambient lighting and more.
The Kia Sonet is the brand's only sub-4 meter SUV, which received its first mid-life update in early 2024. The new SUV comes with revised design and an upgraded interior. It gets a twin display for infotainment and a digital instrument console, automatic AC vents, a single-pane sunroof and others.
