The Tata Altroz hatchback has been in the market since 2020, and it is now ready to receive a major update. The first spy images of the updated Altroz have surfaced on the web, revealing some key details. Wearing heavy camouflage, the test mule managed to cover most of the design changes. However, some updates are still noticeable such as the revised front bumper with a vertical crease below the fog lamps and LED taillamps and indicators.
As of now, there is no information on its interior updates. Though, the 2025 Tata Altroz facelift is expected to come with new seat upholstery, new door trim and some new features. The facelifted version might borrow the ventilated front seats from the Racer Edition. However, it could be reserved for the top-end trim. The 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system could be introduced on the lower trims.
Tata has already equipped the Altroz hatchback with features such as:
iRA connected car tech
Remote vehicle control via a smartphone
Location based services
Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
360 degree surround view system
Blind view monitor
Cruise control
Wireless charger
Steering mounted controls
Navigation with turn-by-turn prompt on the instrument cluster
Leatherette seats
Leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob
Rear AC vents
Front sliding armrest with storage
Rear seat armrest
Tyre pressure monitoring system
The existing engine options are likely to be carried forward in the updated model. This means the 2025 Tata Altroz facelift will continue to come with the 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol, 1.2L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel engine options. The naturally aspirated petrol motor delivers a maximum power of 87bhp and 115Nm of torque, while the turbo petrol unit is good enough for 109bhp and 140Nm.
Tata’s diesel engine produces a maximum power of 89bhp and 200Nm of torque. The Altroz is also available with the CNG fuel option, featuring a 1.2L engine with a factory-fitted CNG kit. This setup offers a peak power of 73bhp and 103Nm of torque.
