Hyundai has confirmed that the new-gen Venue will be launched during the festive season, before Diwali. Internally called the Project QU2i, the new generation Hyundai Venue will come with significant design and interior changes. The SUV has been caught testing numerous times on the Indian as well as on foreign soil.
While Hyundai is yet to make an official announcement, it is expected that the new-gen Venue will launch in India on October 24, 2025. Stay tuned to CarLelo, as we bring you more information on the new Venue in coming days.
The new-gen Hyundai Venue is most likely to retain its existing engine choices, including a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol, a 1.0L turbo petrol and a 1.5L turbo diesel. Seeing the growing demand for CNG fuel option, the lower-spec Venue with 1.2L engine could get a factory-fitted CNG kit. This time around, Hyundai could add an automatic gearbox with the diesel engine.
1.2L, 4-cylinder, NA petrol - 83hp and 114Nm
1.5L, 4-cylinder, turbo diesel - 115hp and 250Nm
1.0L, 3-cylinder, turbo petrol - 120hp and 172Nm
The outgoing model is available in the price bracket of Rs 7.94 lakh to Rs 13.62 lakh. The new-gen Venue will come with several new features, which will slightly increase its price. We expect the new-gen Hyundai Venue to price somewhere between Rs 8 lakh and Rs 15 lakh, ex-showroom Pan India.
The new Venue will rival the likes of the Kia Syros, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO and the Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
Going by the spy images available on the Internet, it is clear that the new Venue will retain the boxy design; however, styling elements will be all-new. Hyundai is also likely to make sheet metal changes, as it is likely to be stronger than the outgoing model. Design elements are shared with latest Hyundai SUVs, including the Alcazar, Creta and Palisade.
The SUV will have an all-new front fascia, featuring a squared-out split LED headlights and a larger rectangular-shaped grille. The rugged lower bumper houses a newly styled air intake, and RADAR sensors for ADAS. It will also get front parking sensors, which we have already seen on the Kia Syros.
From side, the new-gen Venue will look largely identical to the existing model; except for the few changes. It will have a more prominent wheel arches and newly designed alloy wheels. The SUV will have larger glass areas, a flatter roof with prominent roof rails, and a shark fin antenna. The rear will have a newly designed tailgate, a revised connected LED tail-lights and newly designed bumper.
The new-gen Hyundai Venue will receive massive changes inside the cabin. Most of the changes are likely to be inspired by the latest Creta and the Kia Syros SUV. It will have a new dashboard layout dominated by larger screens. The new Venue is likely to have dual 12.3-inch screens for the infotainment and driver’s display, and a newly styled steering wheel.
The next-gen Hyundai Venue will come with a panoramic sunroof. The current model gets a single-pane sunroof, which is likely to be offered on the lower-spec variants. Moreover, the new Venue is likely to get ventilated front and rear seats with reclining and sliding function.
In terms of features, the new-gen Hyundai Venue could get a wireless phone charger, electrically adjustable driver’s seat, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, auto-dimming IRVM, automatic climate control, an air purifier and others.
For safety and security, the new Venue will have six airbags as standard, ABS with EBD, brake assist, ESP, hill launch assist and a 360-degree surround view camera. The SUV will also get front parking sensors. It is also likely to get LEVEL 2 ADAS tech with features like autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane assist, auto high beam and others.
