New Venue records 80K bookings in 4 months 48 percent of first time car buyers Creta records 2 lakh+ sales in calendar year 2025
The newly launched new-gen Hyundai Venue has received an unprecedented response from car buyers in India. Hyundai has recorded over 80,000 bookings for the new Venue in just 4 months, suggesting a huge demand for the new sub-4 meter SUV. The company claims that first time car buyers contributed to around 48 percent of total bookings.
The Hyundai Creta has also reclaimed its position as the No.1 SUV sold in India, achieving highest-ever annual sales of 200,000+ units in calendar year 2025. In order to further boost sales, the Korean automaker entered commercial mobility through Prime HB and SD taxi offerings. The brand’s export volumes increased by 21% YoY in Q3 FY26, and contributed 25% in overall sales mix.
The new Venue is available in the price bracket of Rs 8 lakh to Rs 15.69 lakh, ex-showroom, Pan India. The SUV directly rivals the Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO and the Kia Syros. It measures 3995mm in length, 1800 mm in width, and 1665 mm in height, with a 2520 mm wheelbase. The new Venue is now 48mm taller and 30mm wider than before.
The SUV gets dual 12.3-inch curved panoramic display comprising an infotainment unit and a digital driver’s display. In terms of features, the sub-4 meter SUV gets LED lighting system, dual-tone leather seats, a 4-way powered driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, a two-step reclining rear seats, and a rear window sunshade. The SUV also gets a panoramic sunroof, automatic AC, auto dimming IRVM and LEVEL 2 ADAS.
The SUV is available with 3 engine options - a 82bhp, 1.2L NA petrol with 5-speed manual gearbox, a 118bhp, 1.0L turbo GDI with 6MT and 7-DCT, and a 115hp, 1.5L turbo diesel with 6MT and 6AT.
