All-New Mercedes-Benz GLC Launched at Rs 73.5 Lakh

Mercedes-Benz India has launched the new-generation GLC in India today. The 2024 Mercedes GLC sports an updated exterior design along with a completely new interior. The SUV is available in two variants; GLC 300 and GLC 220d with a price tag of Rs 73.5 lakh and Rs 74.5 lakh, (ex-showroom) respectively.

Bookings for this new GLC was opened a couple of days back at a token amount of Rs 1.50 lakh. Deliveries for the new SUV will start from tomorrow.

2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC: New Changes

The new generation GLC is longer by 60mm than the previous model. Its wheelbase is also increased by 15mm. In terms of design updates, Mercedes has provided a new front grille and bigger LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, connected to the grille. The tail lamps receive a new pattern along with a powered tailgate. The car also sits on larger 19-inch alloy wheels which feature an updated design.

Like with the Mercedes Benz C-Class, the all-new GLC also sports a brand-new cabin inspired by the flagship S-Class. Centerpiece of the new interior is the 11.9-inch portrait touchscreen infotainment system and a bigger 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC: Powertrain Details

The 2024 Mercedes Benz GLC is offered with two engine options. The 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine. This motor is capable of producing a maximum power of 254 bhp and 400 Nm of torque.

The 2.0-litre, inline four-cylinder, turbo-diesel can provide 195 bhp of power with 440 Nm of torque. Both units get mild hybrid functionality. The SUV can sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 6..2 seconds.

In terms of safety, the car gets ADAS and pre-safe with more than 17 features. In addition, the company is also providing transparent bonnets for off-roading, 360-degree camera and 7-airbags among others.
