Honda ZR-V hybrid to come as a CBU model Launch expected by the end of 2026 Gets a 184hp, 2.0L hybrid powertrain Mileage over 22kmpl
In a bid to regain lost market share, Honda Cars India has announced to launch 10 new cars, including 7 new SUVs before the end of this decade. The company will also introduce some of its global products as a fully imported model in India. The Honda ZR-V hybrid is one such product, which is likely to arrive in our market in 2026.
Honda had already showcased the ZR-V hybrid to its dealer partners. According to the AutoCarIndia, the Honda ZR-V will come as a CBU model before the end of 2026.
The Honda ZR-V is already on sale in select ASEAN markets with a petrol hybrid powertrain. The hybrid system comprising a 2.0-litre petrol engine and two electric motors. The combined power and torque output stands at 184bhp and 315Nm, respectively.
The ZR-V e:HEV is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph acceleration in just 7.8 seconds before hitting a top speed of 173kmph. The hybrid version offers an impressive mileage of around 22.2kmpl (4.5-litre per 100 kilometres on the combined WLTC cycle).
In terms of proportions, the ZR-V hybrid is 4,568mm long, 1,840mm wide and 1,620mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2,665mm. Design highlights including an oval front grille with vertical slats, sleek LED headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights, a slopping bonnet, flared wheel arches, LED tail-lights and others.
The new Honda ZR-V e:HEV gets a 10.2-inch digital driver’s display and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. Other features include dual-zone climate control, wireless charger, electrically adjustable driver and co-driver seat, and a Bose sound system.
