Renault is ready to launch the New-Gen Duster in some European countries with a variety of engine options. One of these will include a hybrid unit producing 137 bhp of power. Ahead of the official launch, Renault has released some key details about the European-spec Duster new gen model.
The new-gen model will come with a E-Tech hybrid tech, which includes a 1.6-litre 4-cylinder gasoline engine, a battery pack and an electric motor. The mid-range variant will come equipped with a 1.2 TCe turbo-petrol (130 bhp) and a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. For the entry-level versions, it will offer a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 100 bhp.
The Duster has been migrated from Dacia to Renault with some design changes, mainly at the front. It highlights a 'Renault' lettering on the grille. In addition, the brand has provided a traditional diamond emblem on the front and the rear. Other features are similar to the Dacia's Duster including headlights, bumpers' shape, trunk lid, and wheel design.
Even the overall measurement of the car is similar to the Dacia's model. It will be 4343 mm long, 1810 mm wide, and 1656 mm tall with a wheelbase of 1657 mm.
In the cabin, the dashboard looks similar to that of Dacia's version. However, Renault has adopted its own style for the steering wheel and the graphics on the 7-inch digital instrument panel. Plus, it has a 10.1-inch screen on the top of the dashboard which is tilted towards the driver's side. Furthermore, the new-gen model is provided with exclusive seat coverings and door panels.
MG Hector petrol variants now E20 fuel compatible; 2025 model launched with no price hike, meeting new emission norms and supporting sustainable mobility.
