The much-awaited Volvo EX30 electric SUV has finally been launched in the Indian market at an introductory price tag of Rs 41 lakh (ex-showroom). It is the brand’s smallest and most affordable car in the country. To celebrate Diwali, Volvo is offering the EX30 at a special price of Rs 39.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Customers will need to pre-reserve the electric SUV before 19 October 2025 to avail the special price.

The new EX30 electric SUV is based on Geely’s SEA platform. It is paced with a 69kWh battery pack and a single electric motor rated at 272hp and offers 343Nm of torque. It is claimed to offer a range of 480km (WLTP cycle) on a single charge. The new Volvo EX30 is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph acceleration in 5.3 seconds before hitting a top speed of 180kmph.
The EX30 comes with Volvo’s signature design language. It comes with a closed-off front grille, flanked by slim LED headlights and Thor’s Hammer daytime running lamps. Other design highlights include Pixelated rear lights and aero-optimised wheels. The charging port is placed on the rear left quarter panel.
