Will share similar styling as the Vietname-spec model Expected to launch in the first half of 2025 Likely to offer ADAS suite
The Vietnamese EV maker, VinFast is gearing up to bring its electric cars to India. Out of these vehicles, the VF e34 and VF 5 are most likely to come to the Indian market. In fact, the VF e34 had already been spotted testing on Indian roads, revealing its details regarding design and features. Expected to launch in the first half of 2025, the VF e34 will take the likes of the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV, Maruti eVX and Tata Curvv EV.
Initially, these EVs will be brought via the CBU route. However, a few months ago, the automaker announced its plan to set up its integrated EV manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu. Hence, the EVs from the Vietnamese manufacturer can be localised in the future when the Indian plant is ready to produce vehicles.

Seeing the spy images, it can be assumed that the upcoming VF e34 will have a distinct design language. It is said that the model is likely to share its styling with the Vietname-spec model.
Talking about the exterior features, the VF e34 is expected to feature sleek LED headlamps, uniquely designed fog lamp housings, top-mounted DRLs, thick body cladding on the side, chrome window garnish, body-coloured door handles, 5-spoke design for alloy wheels, and connected taillamps.
Size-wise, it is likely to have the same dimensions as the Creta EV - 4,300 mm long, 1,768 mm wide, and 1,615 mm tall with a wheelbase of 2,611.

The interior could not spied though it is speculated that the VF e34 is likely to come with a 10-inch vertically stacked touchscreen infotainment unit, a 7-inch full-colour instrument cluster, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, ventilated fabric seats, WI-Fi connection, USB ports, keyless entry, and more.
An ADAS suite is also expected to be on offer comprising features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Detection, Remote Vehicle Location, Rear Parking Assist, and more.
With six airbags, a rear parking camera, and a tyre pressure monitoring system, safety will also be taken care of.
Globally, the VF e34 is powered by a 41.9 kWh battery pack. Connected to a front-mounted single electric motor, it can produce the maximum power of 147 bhp and 242 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 9 seconds and offers a top speed of 130 kmph. As for the charging, it can be charged from 10-70% in 27 minutes using a fast charger.
