Hyundai cars has been testing the next-gen model of the Santa Fe for a while now, and recent sneak peek photos reveal that the popular SUV is getting a significant makeover. Expected to launch by 2024, the new Hyundai Santa Fe will have a different look compared to the previous model. Instead of the smooth and rounded appearance, it's going for a more boxy style, similar to the tough-looking SUVs like the Land Rover Defender.

Compared to the old model, the new Hyundai Santa Fe will feature a totally different look from the outside. It will highlight a more square shape with sharp lines all over. The front bumper will house parking sensors and ADAS sensors. Hyundai will also use a H-shaped theme for the daytime running lights and the tail lights. The SUV will ride on large 22-inch alloy wheels. For most people, the overall appearance will remind them of the new Land Rover Defender as it has a similar silhouette.

The next-gen model will continue to offer a squarish theme provided with multiple screens, soft-touch materials, and plush touches. It will have a three-row cabin, offering comfort and a premium feel on the inside. Additionally, you will find a big 12.3-inch curved touchscreen and a fancy all-digital display for your speed and other car information. Besides, there will be a big sunroof and other neat features such as a dual wireless charger, touch & physical controls in the centre console, multi-zone climate control, and more. Also on offer will be Hyundai’s full suite of ADAS features for enhanced safety and comfort.

As for the powertrain, there is no specific detail for the upcoming Hyundai Santa Fe SUV as of now. However, it might continue with the same engines as the outgoing global version. Wait for some more time for more information to be revealed in the near future.

In India, Hyundai sold the Santa Fe during its second and third generations, but it didn't go well for the company. With the new design appeal and plush interior, it is possible for the brand to attract a larger audience this time.
As far as the cost is concerned, the upcoming Santa Fe can be priced between Rs 45 lakh to Rs 55 lakh (ex-showroom) based on the variant selected.
