Let’s have a look at the journey of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno in India:

Maruti Suzuki Baleno has an intriguing history that spans over several years. Its introduction in October 2015 marked a significant shift in Maruti’s product positioning. Sitting above the already popular Swift hatchback, the Baleno brought a premium experience at a competitive price tag.
While the first generation was already popular, the company introduced a minor facelift model in 2019 with the switch to BS6 emission norms. This update brought with it a new front grille, a different design for the alloy wheels and some feature additions on the inside.
As the facelift model started to show its age, Maruti Suzuki introduced the second-generation Baleno at the start of 2023. This new model brought with its a slew of changes including new headlights, a flatter nose and many segment-first features. The 2023 Baleno also became the first model in the segment to offer features like HUD, 360-degree camera and more.
The car not only won the hearts of Indian customers but also auto experts. The premium hatchback has received numerous accolades and recognition for its outstanding features, performance, and value. Some of the achievements include Premium Hatchback of the Year (NDTV Car & Bike Award), Premium Car of the Year & Viewer's Choice Car of the Year (CNBC TV18 Overdrive Awards) and more.
These accolades recognize the Maruti Suzuki Baleno's excellence in design, performance, safety, value for money and overall customer satisfaction.
