The Indian car market is going to witness the launch of three new electric cars in November 2024. Popular brands like Mahindra and Maruti Suzuki are all set to introduce their all-new electrified SUVs which will make a significant impact in the market. Not just the unique design, but these electric SUVs will also get a variety of top-notch features. Let's get more insights!

Maruti Suzuki has been really excited to launch its fully-electric SUV - the eVitara in India. This electric SUV is based on the eVX concept. The production avatar of the new electric SUV has already made its global debut in Italy. As for the India launch, it will arrive by March 2025. The eVitara is based on the all-new HEARTECT-e platform. The global model gets two battery packs - 49kWh and 61kWh. The smaller battery is paired to a single electric motor while the larger packs gets single and dual motor setups. The eVitara will also get both 2WD and 4WD drive systems.

The homegrown automaker, Mahindra has been sharing its plan with the public to launch a new series of electric SUVs. The brand has even teased the production models of the BE 05 which will be called BE 6e upon launch. Based on the teaser, the electric SUV will look quite similar to the concept version, maintaining its aggressive styling and bold appearance. Based on Mahindra's INGLO platform, the BE 6e is expected to get two battery packs (60kWh and 79kWh), offering a maximum range of around 450 km.

With the BE 6e, Mahindra also dropped a few visuals of the new XEV 9E in the teaser. Its concept version was previously codenamed XUV.e9. This SUV is the electric version of the successful XUV700. It will also be built on the same INGLO platform as BE 6e. The battery details are yet to come to the surface, however, it is likely to deliver an impressive range of 500 km. Inside, it will get impressive features, including a 3-screen setup, a Head-Up Display with an augmented navigation system, sound packages by AR Rahman, Level 2 ADAS, multiple airbags, and much more.
