Hyundai sold 52407 vehicles in Feb 2025 Toyota domestic sales crossed 30,000 mark
Automakers have started releasing their sales numbers for the month of February 2026. Most of the brands have posted positive sales. Toyota has managed to sell over 30,000 vehicles last month, while Hyundai has reported its best-ever sales for the month of February 2026.

Maruti Suzuki has reported a total dispatch (including sales to OEMs) of 174840 units in February 2026 compared with 174379 units in the same month last year. The brand’s total sales for the last month stood at 2,13,995 units, reporting a YoY growth of 7.31 percent. In the same month last year, MSIL reported a total sales of 199400 units, including exports.
The company exported 39,155 vehicles in February 2026 as against 25,021 vehicles in the same month last year, registering an impressive YoY sales growth of 56.48 percent. Domestic passenger vehicle sales stood at 161,000 units in February, while the LCV sales were reported at 3130 units.
In the mini and compact segment, Maruti sold 76,624 vehicles. The brand sold a total of 72,756 vehicles in the utility vehicle segment. MSIL also dispatched 11,162 units of its ECO VAN in February 2026.

Tata Motors has reported a total sales of 63331 units in February 2026 as against 46811 units in the same month last year, reporting a YoY sales growth of 35 percent. The company dispatched 62329 vehicles to dealerships last month as against 46435 units in February 2025. Its domestic YoY sales increased by 34 percent. The company exported 1002 vehicles in Feb 2026 when compared to 376 units in the same month last year.
Tata Motors sold 8385 units of the electric vehicle in domestic + international markets in February 2026 as against 5343 vehicles in the same month last year, reporting an impressive YoY sales growth of 57 percent.
Hyundai Motor India Limited has achieved a total sales of 66,134 units in February 2026, reporting a Year-on-Year sales growth of 12.6 percent. The company reported a domestic sales of 52,407 units, which is against a YoY sales growth of 9.8 percent. Hyundai has also exported 13,727 vehicles, reporting an impressive YoY growth of 24.8 percent. This is HMIL’s highest-ever tally for total and domestic sales for the month of February since inception.
Commenting on the February 2026 sales results, Mr. Tarun Garg, MD & CEO - HMIL, said: “We kicked-off 2026 on a high note achieving our highest-ever monthly sales in January and the momentum continues in February. With a total sales (domestic plus exports) of 66,134 units, the highest for any February in our history, we posted a robust growth of 12.6% YoY. This includes domestic sales of 52,407 units, also the highest-ever February sales since inception. As we approach completing 30 years in our great country, our ambition is very clear – to make cutting‑edge connected technology accessible to all while elevating every ownership experience and carrying the spirit of Hyundai from India to the world.”
Toyota has recorded a total sales of 34,034 vehicles in February 2026 as against 28,414 units in the same month last year. The company has reported a YoY sales growth of 20 percent. In the domestic market, the company dispatched 30,737 units last month as against 26,414 vehicles in February 2025. The brand’s domestic sales increased by good 16 percent. The company exported 3,297 units last month compared to 2000 units in Feb 2025, registering a YoY export growth of 65 percent.

Kia India has recorded its highest-ever February sales of 27,610 units, registered a YoY sales growth of 10.3 percent. In the same month last year, Kia sold 25,026 vehicles. Kia claims that the all-new Seltos continued to witness strong customer response, while the Sonet sustained its positive sales momentum in the compact SUV segment.
