Maruti Suzuki Victoris (Escudo), an upcoming mid-size SUV, is set to make its mark in India with a premium design and segment-first technologies. Recently spotted during testing, the Escudo car is expected to offer several high-end features that will give it an edge over rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Toyota Hyryder.
Let’s take a closer look at the Maruti Escudo advanced SUV features ahead of its official launch.
Maruti Escudo will arrive with some of the most advanced technologies offered by Maruti so far. A 360-degree camera will make parking and tight maneuvers easier, while the Head-Up Display (HUD) will project key driving details on the windshield for better focus on the road. The cabin will feature a fully digital instrument cluster and a large 10.25-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Adding to the convenience, the SUV is expected to get Suzuki Connect connected car features, a powered tailgate, and a panoramic sunroof. Comfort will also be enhanced through ventilated front seats, rear AC vents, wireless phone charging, and a premium Dolby Atmos audio system, which will be a first for any Maruti model in India.

When it comes to safety, the Maruti Suzuki Escudo will raise the benchmark for the brand. Six airbags, ABS with EBD, and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) will form the core safety package. Drivers will also benefit from hill-hold assist, a tyre pressure monitoring system, ISOFIX mounts for child seats, and rear parking sensors.
The highlight, however, will be the introduction of Level-2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) in higher trims. This system could include lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking features that will put the Escudo on par with global rivals.
The Escudo car will also come with features that are currently not offered by some competitors. A 4WD system is expected to be available, giving it better off-road capability compared to models like the Hyundai Creta. The powered tailgate will add to everyday convenience, while the inclusion of Dolby Atmos audio will enhance the in-car entertainment experience. With these updates, the Escudo is shaping up to be one of the most premium SUVs in Maruti’s lineup.
The much-awaited Maruti Escudo launch date has been slated for September 3, 2025. With its rich feature list, modern design, and segment-first offerings, the Maruti Escudo advanced SUV features will position it as a strong contender in the mid-size SUV space.
The Maruti Suzuki Escudo is expected to combine innovation, safety, and practicality, making it one of the most exciting launches of the year.
