Mahindra XUV700, the flagship SUV, is set for a facelift, expected to debut in early 2026. The updated model will bring exterior styling tweaks, interior updates, and new technology while retaining the current petrol and diesel engine options.
One of the biggest changes inside the facelifted XUV700 will be the triple-screen dashboard, similar to the design seen on the Mahindra XEV 9e. The setup is likely to feature three 12.3-inch displays:
- Touchscreen infotainment unit for media, navigation, and vehicle controls
- Digital driver’s instrument cluster for driving data
- Co-passenger entertainment screen for video streaming, games, navigation support, and even video calls
The XUV700 facelift is expected to get ventilated seats for both front and rear passengers, making it more comfortable in hot weather. Other upgrades could include:
- Self-parking assist for easier manoeuvring in tight spots
- Digital key for added convenience
- Upgraded Harman audio system with Dolby Atmos support for an immersive sound experience
- Auto-dimming IRVM to reduce glare during night driving
Mahindra is likely to introduce new upholstery options and an updated interior colour scheme, giving the cabin a more premium feel. There may also be revisions to the center console, AC vent layout, and steering wheel design to enhance the overall visual appeal.
The facelifted XUV700 will retain its current engine lineup:
2.0-litre turbo petrol – 197 bhp & 380 Nm
2.2-litre turbo diesel – 182 bhp & 450 Nm
Both engines will continue to be offered with 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmissions.
Mahindra XUV700 facelift is expected to be priced starting around Rs 15 lakh, with the top variants going up to Rs 26 lakh. This marks a slight increase over the current model’s price range of Rs 14.49 lakh to Rs 25.14 lakh (ex-showroom).
