The luxury car maker, Maserati has launched its Grecale SUV in the Indian market. Starting from Rs 1.31 crore, the SUV is offered in three variants. In its brand’s SUV portfolio, the Grecale is positioned below the Levante SUV.
From the design perspective, the Grecale features the brand's signature grille at the front, chrome highlights on the grille, LED headlights, twin-exhaust tips, and slim wraparound tail lights. Besides, the SUV has alloys in different wheel sizes, including 19, 20, and 21 inches.
In terms of features, the Grecale SUV comes with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with an 8-inch touchpad for the climate controls. Other amenities include 14-way power-adjustable front seats with heating & memory functions, a digital instrument cluster, 3-zone automatic climate control, and a head-up display. A Level 1 ADAS is also available.
The Grecale is available in three variants - GT, Modena, and Trofeo. The GT and Modena variants are powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine with mild-hybrid tech. This 4-cylinder engine can produce 296 bhp on the GT and 325 bhp of power on the mid-spec Modena trim. Both variants share the same torque figures of 450 Nm.
Meanwhile, the high-end Trofeo gets a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol engine which can churn out 523 bhp of power and 620 Nm of torque. Transmission options on all three variants include an 8-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive.
The starting price for the Grecale SUV stands at Rs 1.31 crore for the GT variant. While the Modena and Trofeto are priced at Rs 1.53 crore and 2.05 crore, respectively (ex-showroom). At this price point, the Porsche Macan (Rs 96.05 lakh-1.53 crore) is the greatest rival to Grecale.
